I’m not agreeing with Slick, but he does clarify 10 seconds later by stating that he doesn’t have to know how it was “arrived at” in order to use it, which logically follows.

Even if we concede scripture is regula remota fidei or material sufficiency in of itself that still doesn’t prove the Protestant position.
