Fred Vasseur was right to highlight the importance of respecting the rules when designing the car. In Formula 1, even small regulatory details can completely change the competitiveness of a team. And the changes for the start should never be allowed. Ferrari take a compromise in recovery and particularly in reliablity with a smaller turbo, it is not fair to solve the problems of those who did not want, or could not work under the regulation.

Ferrari should sue FIA and Mercedes The current regulation was a set up, the whole shit of the 16:1 compression ratio was to allow mercedes to cheat. There was no need to drop compression ratio to 16:1 and with all teams on 18:1 the mercedes trick was useless
