Freedom of religion is our First Amendment right because it is the foundation on which all other freedoms rest. President Trump has made protecting this right a clear and unapologetic priority.

Our founders intentionally passed the Second Amendment right after the First, out of a recognition that every one of us has a right to defend ourselves and our loved ones, AND to serve as a check on a tyrannical government seeking to take away our God-given freedoms. The Democratic Party’s hatred of the Second Amendment and their increasing authoritarian instincts and actions pose a serious threat to our freedoms and is exactly why our rights ‘shall not be infringed.’

The media has made a big deal out of my recent comments on CNN comparing Biden and Trump, but once again they got it wrong. I didn't say that I definitively believe Biden is more dangerous for democracy than Trump. What I said was that, the case could be made that Biden's attack on the First Amendment was the worst thing either president did for our democracy, because all of our other rights depend on freedom of speech. Thanks, Christopher C. Cuomo and NewsNation for the chance to set the record straight

The state of our union is strong! Last night, President Trump delivered a clear message that our border is secure, our economy is on the right track, and America is respected again on the world stage.

This is the United States of America. We have a first amendment right to live whatever faith we choose. We also have the freedom of speech and I have the right to call out antisemitic hatred. Antisemitism has no place in our nation.

Donald Trump is launching in broad daylight a naked attack against one of the most basic freedoms in America—free speech. That is censorship. It is disgusting, a violation of the first amendment. It’s right out of the Xi and Putin playbook. It’s anti-American.

Actions speak louder than words. Today, President Trump signed an Executive Order reshaping the childhood vaccine guidelines down to 11 core vaccinations. Given that the health of our children and has been going in the wrong direction while our vaccine schedule has continued to increase, I’m very glad to see our President has made this a priority and exercised common sense measures to get us out of this mess. Is it everything I want? No. Is it a step in the right direction? Absolutely yes. Has any other President before him given this one moment of their time? You know the answer to that. Change is here, and more is coming.

SEN. Josh Hawley: We are going to get to a vote and Eagle Ed Martin is going to pass. Donald J. Trump made it crystal clear Ed Martin is a top priority because DC safety is a top priority. Our nation’s capital should be the cleanest safest best city in America. Ed is the right guy to clean it up. Senate Republicans on the Judiciary Committee need to give him a shot.

Lara Logan explains how Islam commands the “overthrow of the existing government” Muslims migrate to Lara Logan “Islam is not a religion. It's a civilization. This is a very significant difference because people think that under the First Amendment of The United States that the protection, the freedom of religion means that you have the freedom to use religion to enforce and advance a political ideology, even where it means the overthrow of the existing government. And that is not the case. Islam defines itself as a civilization, and religion is really part of that, but it is not the defining thing, and why does it matter so much? Well, because the civilization of Islam is governed by Sharia. And by that, I mean Sharia law. Right. And you cannot have Sharia law coexisting with the constitution and American law. Those two things are diametrically opposed in every single respect. They're not even vaguely tied to each other — This is so what we have allowed in The United States, we have allowed first amendment protection. — Islam is a political organization that uses the religion as a cover and as a front”

The Founders put free speech in the First Amendment because they knew every other right depended on it. Charlie Kirk understood this well.
