Also that example the capture is a lot better if you compare what Nikki has here. Yes better capture is better result. This is insane!🔥 This is a 720p (2D) video I shot of my kids 15 years ago! I used AI to upscale it, depth-map it, & used the depth map to convert it to 3D SBS, & then converted that to Spatial Video for Apple Vision Pro (MV-HEVC). My son is currently a senior in high school, and my daughter is a sophomore in college. This video has complete spatial depth when viewed in the Apple Vision Pro. Obviously, you can't appreciate that via this post. But it's like I'm there & I can see into this room. Talk about giving you the feels.🥹 This can be done with ANY video. 🤯 I'm working on refining the workflow, as it's a bit cumbersome. I plan to share it, but holy cow! I had to post this.

More moves to AI-first living. Got the Genspark browser that just came out. One thing I notice is that I like having separate browsers working on different tasks. I'm not a big user of MCPs, since I'm not really a developer. Are you? They have a store of a bunch of MCPs available to use. Most of my AI work is research related, or answering emails and scheduling things, I'm focusing more of my effort there. Genspark has been shipping a ton of stuff the past few weeks, from ability to make slides to a new AI secretary that can schedule things, or help you answer your emails. First I looked at, "does it make sense to move over to this new way of working?" The problem with that is you gotta learn a new browser. Well, it looks like Google Chrome, except it has a prompt window. Click the icons underneath it and you will see you can add X, Notion, Google stuff like calendar and gmail, or a variety of others. But the real power is just talking to it. I asked it what kinds of tasks it can do, and it answered: "Just tell me what you want to accomplish! For example: "Research the latest developments in spatial computing and create a presentation" "Analyze my Gmail for any important emails from this week" "Find information about AI robotics companies and create a spreadsheet" "Generate a video about emerging tech trends" "Help me plan a trip to CES 2026" And so further into AI-first living I go. Have you tried it yet? What do you suggest I do next to use more AI to run my life and build my business? I have another browser tab building a video for me. What a beautiful time to be alive. This project has been “cooking” for quite some time, based on a concept I came up with back in July. So here’s the pitch: Imagine you’re in a distant future, you’re hungry, and once again, you’re too lazy to cook. Instead of opening a website and ordering pizza the old-fashioned way with boring drop-down menus and checkboxes, you get to playfully create your pizza right on your living room table. Once you’re done, simply hit “Order,” and your creation will be delivered straight to your doorstep. Well, this isn’t that app—at least not yet—but it’s a lot of fun to create your own wild and controversial pizza creations (yes, we added pineapple) and watch raw realistic 3D ingredients transform into their baked versions. Is the Vision Pro expensive? Yes. Can it be compared to other headsets? Not at all—at least not in general—because it does a lot of things that others simply don’t. Let me give you an example: I’m a very nostalgic person. That’s why my photo library is one of my most valuable digital assets. With over 100,000 photos, browsing through my past memories can feel like traveling through time. But nothing—really NOTHING—comes close to the experience of reliving these memories on Vision Pro. With Apple’s Machine Learning, you can literally transform any of your old photos into spatial 3D experiences—and it just works. If you haven't tried this out yet with your own memories this will be hard for you to understand. But combined with music, this actually feels like time travelling and completely redefines the way you relive past memories. Honestly, this feature alone would be worth $2K to me. Just being able to feel like you're really there, in that moment is priceless. You might not feel the same way, but that’s why everyone needs to define the value of the Vision Pro for themselves. In the end, it’s always about what you use the technology for.

Spatial video is so underrated. Yeah, we all laughed at that cringey Apple Vision Pro demo.. the dad with a headset strapped on at his kid’s birthday. But this isn’t just video recording.. This is a life moment recording. Watching a spatial video in Apple Vision Pro feels like almost being there. Words can’t do justice- you have to experience it. When we lost our cat Buttercup, it was devastating. But I have spatially recorded videos of him- me petting him and seeing in full 3D. Every hair on his body, the fluffy texture of his fur, even the details in his whiskers- it’s so vivid it feels like you could reach out and touch him. It’s therapeutic. Healing. Almost like a window back into those moments. I used to think we’d have to wait until we were living in spaceships, staring at hologram of loved ones, to be experiencing something like this. But Apple made that a reality- now, in our lifetime. That’s the power of spatial video.

Today is a great day for XR. After being available on the Quest, the content creation platform Figmin XR has now arrived on the Apple Vision Pro. From a Vision Pro user’s perspective: This app offers so many breathtaking experiences, such as stepping into paintings, exploring portals, and playing with physics in your room, that it’s incredibly addictive. Immersive art has seriously become my new favorite thing in spatial computing. From a UI/UX designer’s perspective: Wow. I was amazed at how the interface feels both completely new and intuitive. I’ll create a separate video focusing on creating with Figmin XR, but my first impression is that they’ve already figured out how 3D interfaces could work. Highly impressed. At $19.99, it’s worth every one of them. I highly recommend checking it out.

I've talked about them before, and they are collaborating with me on this post. Today, I’m reviewing the Vision Pro version of "Luminar" by @Luminar_Neo —an incredibly productive, yet downright beautiful app. Honestly, it might just have the best UI/UX I’ve ever seen in photo editing software. All the knobs, settings, and buttons are playful yet thoughtfully designed, making it a joy to interact with the interface. You can immediately tell that a lot of thought went into creating an experience that doesn’t rely on standard sliders, and as an #UI #UX designer myself I really appreciate that! It offers tons of controls, making it a fully-fledged photo editing software, now available in any size, right in your room. You can’t tell me that this isn’t just awesome. The award-winning app is packed with a lot of #AI like smart filters and sky replacement, that work flawlessly. I won’t say more—this one’s an easy 5/5 Visions.
