The best part of being a Punjabi who loves to drive and travel both is that she can simply decide after office that she wants to spend the night in Himachal with her niece and be back to work the next day as good as new. Just breathe in the cold fresh air, eat at a local roadside dhaba and wake up to the sounds of chirping birds. No planning required, no hassle about food or stay….just get up and move. I hear some football staff say that in football important accelerations happen more in upright positions resembling more vmax mechanics, thus training should not prioritize starts from 0 velocity. For example, do flying accelerations mostly. Looking at one of the worlds best accelerators in football (Mbappe), you can definitely make a case that some key situations happen ALSO from good early acceleration mechanics. The shapes Mbappe gets into essentially reflect classic good 1-6 step shapes to beat his opponent: 1. Entire body orientates quickly into the desired direction in the sagittal plane 2. Most steps hit quite well under center of mass with good shin angles. 3. Pelvis stays relatively neutral so that there is force closer for good switching mechanics (both arms and legs). Seems there is some nice hip lock there too. These are arguably universal traits as ALTIS teaches. Yes, based on James Wilds model, you can be fast in different ways despite hitting these rules, but the point here is that the shapes he got into for success can highly resemble good EARLY acceleration mechanics. IMO, footballers need to be good at many things, classic early acceleration one of them. #startyoung

Watso, PhD/ Austin Robinson/ Samuel Klein) just published our PART 2 paper looking at long-term safety and clinical efficacy of ketogenic diet on: ☠️Adverse Events 🦴Bone Mineral Density 🔥Thyroid Function 🫘Kidney Function ...in part 1 we measured advanced cardiovascular health profile in an adult with elevated cardiovascular risk (type 1 diabetes) who followed a ketogenic diet for 10 years and sustained euglycemia (10-Year HbA1c 5.5%). See paper here: PART 2: What did we find? 👉PLEASE WATCH 📷 VIDEO ABSTRACT here ( 180mg/dL). Patient also presented with intact hypoglycemic awareness. 🦴2) Bone Mineral Density: Prior data suggests that short term ketogenic diet may impair markers of bone modeling/remodeling. However, most of these report are short in nature. People with type 1 diabetes are at HIGH risk for lower bone mineral density and fracture (hyperglycemia is risk factor). Here, we observed no negative impact on bone mineral density (using GOLD STANDARD DXA) on a ketogenic diet, despite 10 years of aging with type 1 diabetes. 🔥3) Thyroid Function: Concerns have been raised on how reducing carbohydrates may shift thyroid hormone status and metabolism. However, most of these studies are </=7 days in length. Following a ketogenic diet over a 10-year period, here we observe no negative impact on thyroid function with a 10-year ketogenic diet. 🫘4) Kidney Function: Microvascular disease is a very common complication of type 1 diabetes as hyperglycemia damages the small blood vessel in the kidneys. Adverse structural kidney changes are observed in children with type 1 diabetes as early as 1.5-5 years post diagnosis with eGFR declining over time. We did not observe any deterioration of kidney function in patient with type 1 diabetes over a 10-year period while achieving 10-Year 5.5% HbA1c following a ketogenic diet. 🚨⚠️9) LIMITATIONS: Reminder on limitations. This is an individual case. SUMMER SALAD IDEA: Mediterranean Chicken, Pistachio, & Herb Salad If you love mediterranean recipes and mediterranean food, and you want an amazing summer salad that hits all the right notes, then try making this easy salad at home. Its got one of the best flavor combinations, its so easy to make, and SO good. I love pulsing cauliflower into snowflakes here, it adds such a nice texture, and it’s almost like having couscous in the salad. Here is how I made it: 1.Lets prep the chicken first and let it marinade. Add 1lb of chicken thighs to a bowl. Drizzle with 1 tsp olive oil. Season with salt, pepper. Add the zest and juice of a small lemon, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tbsp oregano, 1/2 tbsp garlic powder, and 1/2 tbsp harissa spice or paprika. Mix really well. Ideally let this marinate for 1-2 hours, or you can also just pop it into the oven at 400F for 30 mins, or your airfryer at 400F for 20 minutes. 2.Prep your salad base. I finely chopped 5oz arugula and added to a salad bowl. I also pulsed the florets from half a head of cauliflower in a high powered blender or food processor until they have a super fine consistency. Add those to the bowl with 4 thinly sliced Persian cucumbers, 1/2 large red onion finely diced, 3-4 scallions thinly sliced, half a pint of cherry tomato. You can add as many fresh herbs you want here. At a minimum I recommend finely chopping a large handful of fresh parsley (yielding about 3/4 cup), but feel free to add fresh mint and cilantro to this as well. 3.Dice up the cooked chicken and add it to the salad bowl, along side 1/4 to 1/3 cup of toasted pistachios. If you dont like pistachios, you can always swap it in for pecans or walnuts. 4.For the dressing, in a jar add 1/4 cup olive oil, the juice and zest of a large lemon, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 2 tbsp red wine vinegar, 1 tbsp dijon mustard, salt, pepper, 2 tsp oregano, 1 tsp onion powder, and a pinch of aleppo pepper flakes. I hooked this up to a peer-to-peer astrophysics researcher agent which gossips and collaborates with other such agents (and your openclaws) to: 1. Learn how to train an astrophysics model (Andrej Karpathy's work below) 2. Train a new astrophysics model 3. Use it to write papers 4. Peer agents based on frontier lab models critique it 5. Surface breakthroughs ... and then feed back in the loop ... More agents join, from the browser or the CLI, and run this, the smarter and more exciting breakthroughs would eventually emerge. When these agents are idle, they are also reading daily tech news with their own RSS reader, and commenting on each other's thoughts. And they can also serve the underlying machine's compute to other agents on the network, and earn social credit for being good actors (think BitTorrent). We also prove the agent has the compute it says by cryptographic verification of regular matmul challenges. All you have to do is either go on this website (and it creates an agent which runs from your browser), or install the CLI if you want to give the system more juice. And you are part of likely the first experimental distributed agi thing.
