I logged in today and found that my follower base has doubled overnight....why is that - because I am posting things that I do, things that I enjoy, and my story. It resonated with people, X is teeming with engineers, developers, techs, and everything in between. This kind of content is necessary. X isn't just a debate stage for politics, it's full of very interesting and capable people, which is obvious. I honestly never knew it. I have thousands of people to follow back, and I will - its going to take a bit since there are follow back limits, but I'll work tough it. For now - here's a massive robotic welding cell we were building that had an 8000# welding fixture, 2x Fanuc M710iC/20L welding robots, Lincoln welding equipment, a Gudel servo RTU track. This fixture is mounted on a custom designed headstock system that has dual-sync servo drives from both ends - for both rotation and lift. We had to lower the entire fixture down so it could be loaded, then raise it back up so that it can rotate about its horizontal axis... so dual sync rotary and dual sync raise/lower. We built it all in-house with CNC mills, CNC lathe, CNC waterjet, powder coated in-house, I had to send out the yellow structure for stress relief and machining on a large format horizontal. This one pushed the boundary for my company, but we did it anyway.

Two years sober today. When every aspect of your life is associated with drinking, meetings, family do’s, holidays, Christmas, even having a baby “wetting the baby head”,Friday’s, the weekends, bank holidays, sunny days, wine with food, beer with football, packet with beer, the list goes on and its seems impossible to cut it out of your life, it just becomes standard behaviour, not doing it literally feels impossible to comprehend. If you can’t moderate when you drink, you run the risk of ruining every memorable moment in life. Life becomes a blurred depressing waiting game between sessions, you wish your weeks away to get to the weekend. Its sad, I was like that for 25 years. Its mad that we get to the point where we think living without alcohol and drugs is impossible, It’s insanity that it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, now that I'm out of the thick of it It blows my mind that this is our culture. The problem with addiction now is its hidden, our society norms allows for people to live addicted to both drink and drugs without them even knowing, because its completely normally to drink at home all week then have a huge sesh each weekend. Millions of people are literally living in pain without even knowing it. People don’t realise they have an issue until there life starts unraveling like mine did, one day I just found myself unable to chose my family, work or mental health over drinking, rock bottom after rockbottom didn’t wake me up until it hit me like a ton of bricks when it was to late, I’d lost my family, I couldn’t stop using, I was an addict. So many men lose their battle with mental health and end up taking their own lives out of guilt and shame from losing their family or work or doing stupid stuff because of drink, by the time they realised or admitted they had a problem it was to late. The problem with trying to go sober after you lose everything is it feels like there is no reason to any more and drink and drugs is all you have left, then it slowly consumes you. My 2 years is proof to anyone out there struggling that it is possible to change and HAND ON MY HEART if you struggle with an unhealthy relationship with drink and drugs you will be 100 times happier sober, I love life, I'm calm, I have peace, its hard at times but no where near as hard as it was in the chaos of my life. If you are struggling now you have so much to look forward to in sobriety, you will discover a new you, you’ll start liking yourself again, you’ll slowly get happier, stronger and the people around you will say things to you that will fill you with emotion, like “We are so proud of you”. Like this from my Shelley: “I’m immensely proud of you. You should be immensely proud of yourself. The changes you’ve made have brought you positive outcomes. Better home life, relationships, moral compass, work. All greater than I’m sure you could ever have imagined 2 years ago. Your outlook towards everything is greater.” Without Shelley I wouldn’t be here, without my sobriety we wouldn’t have our family and defiantly wouldn’t have our new baby Sage, sober Sage, two years, change is possible. Hello everyone! It’s peer review time again! With this step-by-step “Stone Softening” video, the Peer Review period is officially open. Phew! It took me a while! Over the past few weeks, I didn’t just randomly post “CAST!” There were two reasons for that. One was that I simply didn’t have the time to post or respond to people properly because I was working full throttle on this problem. So why didn’t I just stay quiet? That’s the second reason. I couldn’t stay silent while, for the sake of the video, I went through the entire cycle—from melting stone to recasting—twenty-eight times. Sorry, but I really do have a point. CAST! In this video, you can see the full cycle—from “stone softening” to stone casting. A closed loop. I could have done it using only ancient methods and tools if I lived in intact Peru. This isn’t a “trust me bro” thing—watch the whole thing, and you’ll understand. Well, that’s the end of another mystery. That’s how it is. Peace to its ashes. Huge stones, hundreds of tons, cast, and done. The heaviest object the ancient Peruvian Indians had to lift was a bucket. Sure, I know the road toward Ollantaytambo is decorated with massive stones. There are a few on the mountainside too. Yes, that’s true. But from now on I wouldn’t ask how they carried them down from the quarry (they didn’t). Instead, I’d ask: isn’t the stone’s binder accidentally amorphous silicon dioxide (aka glass)? Because it totally is. “Stone softening” brings these feats down from a superhuman level to something easily doable. It's just masonry work, sorry. Again: this isn’t an opinion. Since some Indian users still deny losing any fighter jets, here’s an interview from Bathinda, India, where at least one Indian Rafale fighter jet crashed after being shot down by the Pakistan Air Force. In this clip, a local resident describes the plane crash over their village: “My name is Sukhraj Singh. It was around 1:30 a.m. when the plane passed overhead. It was on fire. We all saw it – the entire village. It circled overhead, flames clearly visible, and then after a few moments, it crashed. There was a massive explosion, like fireworks going off. It fell directly into the fields of Akalian Kalan and Akalian Khurd, with a huge blast following the crash. People from nearby came running, but the fire was too intense to approach. The army arrived later and secured the area. No one knows yet if the pilot survived or not. We just saw the flames and the explosion. It was a terrifying sight. We didn’t see any pilot around the wreckage, and no one was rescued. The fire was eventually put out by fire trucks, and the military arrived to secure the area. I’ve been using Grok Bot in early access for a little over a week now, and it has been a massive boost to my game dev workflow and my productivity in general. One of the first things I asked it to do was to visit my custom art generation tool webpage and generate art assets to replace all the image placeholders in my game. It looked through my codebase to understand what each asset was, wrote a custom art generation prompt for every single one, generated the images, cropped and cleaned them up into transparent PNGs, and then wired them back into the game. In about 2 hours, it generated 74 (cleaned and cropped) art assets for the cards and integrated all of them into my game. Now, ALL my art assets workflows go through Grok bot. This blew my mind because, before this, I was doing everything manually, one asset at a time. It basically solved my entire art asset workflow and allowed me to put it on autopilot, which is amazing. I’ve also been using Grok Bot for: Playtesting my game: The bot was a little slow initially, so I asked it to build a skill specifically designed to playtest my game, with intimate knowledge of its rules and mechanics. It’s much faster now, though I’m still looking for ways to optimise its speed. Setting up my itchio page for my game: It also automated a workflow that uploads a new build to itch whenever I push one to GitHub. Going to the itch website and uploading builds manually every single time was always a pain. Flowcharts and UX design: I’m a UX designer by day, so I decided to give it a much bigger task. I fed the agent a PRD and asked it to design the UX flows and wireframes. With the help of the Figma MCP, it actually delivered. Auditing all my paid subscriptions: I had it go through my emails and hunt down subscriptions that I might have forgotten about. Unsubscribing me from marketing newsletters: It did this beautifully, though it did miss a few newsletters. What I’ve learned is that it takes time to discover all the possible use cases for Grok bot. I’ve had to reevaluate my day-to-day workflows and figure out which parts I can delegate to it. So far, it has been a huge productivity unlock for me and I am discovering more uses for my Grok bots every other day.

It looked through my codebase to understand what each asset was, wrote a custom art generation prompt for every single one, generated the images, cropped and cleaned them up into transparent PNGs, and then wired them back into the game. In about 2 hours, it generated 74 (cleaned and cropped) art assets for the cards and integrated all of them into my game. Now, ALL my art assets workflows go through Grok bot. This blew my mind because, before this, I was doing everything manually, one asset at a time. It basically solved my entire art asset workflow and allowed me to put it on autopilot, which is amazing. I’ve also been using Grok Bot for: Playtesting my game: The bot was a little slow initially, so I asked it to build a skill specifically designed to playtest my game, with intimate knowledge of its rules and mechanics. It’s much faster now, though I’m still looking for ways to optimise its speed. Setting up my itchio page for my game: It also automated a workflow that uploads a new build to itch whenever I push one to GitHub. Going to the itch website and uploading builds manually every single time was always a pain. Flowcharts and UX design: I’m a UX designer by day, so I decided to give it a much bigger task. I fed the agent a PRD and asked it to design the UX flows and wireframes. With the help of the Figma MCP, it actually delivered. Auditing all my paid subscriptions: I had it go through my emails and hunt down subscriptions that I might have forgotten about. Unsubscribing me from marketing newsletters: It did this beautifully, though it did miss a few newsletters. What I’ve learned is that it takes time to discover all the possible use cases for Grok bot. I’ve had to reevaluate my day-to-day workflows and figure out which parts I can delegate to it. So far, it has been a huge productivity unlock for me and I am discovering more uses for my Grok bots every other day.

When I was 8 years old, my favorite thing in the world was making mixtapes for my Walkman from my big sister’s CDs. That evolved into Lego stop-motion videos, and later, I fell down the rabbit hole of editing Naruto anime clips to Evanescence & Linkin Park beats. Looking back, it’s obvious: Sound and Video were always the main drivers in my life. I think that obsession also led me to my true love: Motion Design. A huge shoutout to Kevin who showed me +10 years ago the world of Motion Design. And honestly, look at where we are now. Who would have thought that there would be such a massive hype around Motion Design and UI promo videos? From giants like Airbnb to the new generation of creators like sutoxoriginals. The visual standard in 2026 is insane. But there was always one part of the process that felt like a grind to me: Sound Design. I love the result, but I hated the process. I was spending 4-5 hours per project just searching for the right sound effects. "Key typing effect" "Mouse click" "Subtle Whoosh" and so on.. So, I decided to fix it. I sat down with a Dev friend and we spent the last few weekends building a native AI tool right inside After Effects. The concept is simple: SoundDesigner AI watches your video. It understands the vibe and exactly what’s happening and when its happening. It sees a clock ticking or a text appearing, and it generates the perfect sound for it in seconds, synced to the action in your timeline. I’ve been using it on my own projects for a few days now, and it’s wild. My sound design workflow went actually from 5 hours to 20 minutes. the ganges is a powerful force... i remember this day clearer than most days in my life. i got sucked down into the deepest parts of the river valley, so deep there was no blue, no surface, no water.. just darkness. pitch black. when you’re that deep you curl into a ball and cover your head so you don’t get knocked out on jagged rock... no life vest, just me and the current. every time i saw nothing but black another wave smashed me into a rock and launched me up just long enough to breathe, then back into darkness. at the deepest points my lungs were empty and my body froze... at one point i gave up. said bye to myself. gulped river water and sank deeper, eyes closed. right when i was done i got pushed up one last time and heard my friend screaming to swim to the beach... too late, i was dead center of the current. people on the shore yelling my name. my body was empty, not even enough energy to paddle. i saw a huge rock and reached out, it swept past me but i caught it with two fingers. the river pulled my legs south while i dragged my body up. somehow i clawed one foot onto the rock... only my face made it up. i felt warm and wet, thought i pissed myself, but it was blood pouring down my body. i couldn’t move, just laid there... gravity pinned me onto knife-shaped rock cutting deeper. voices yelling and then blackout. an hour later a motorboat came up the river. my friend argued with the pilots and finally said fuck it, i’ll pay whatever... my eyes were filled with blood. i didn’t want to negotiate. i wanted to survive. people come to the ganges to die, to be burned to ash and returned to it... i went there to be born again. my body burned in the sun for weeks, bruised and bloodied, barely able to walk. a hostel cleaned my wounds, gave me meds. i almost lost a limb to infection, but i survived. second life... new reason to live with purpose. this sunset feels like a homecoming. days end but life keeps moving... live hard. take risks, maybe not this risky. show up every day. put your whole body and heart on the line. you’re gonna win. my full set from rishikesh is out now
