Friends, the mainstream media typically uses Easter as a time to “debunk” Christianity with old, tired arguments. After reading a rather annoying article in The The New Yorker, I’d like to share my thoughts with you.

@NewYorker Bishop, Thank you for everything you do for our faith.

@NewYorker Elaine Pagels is a well known liar and cheat. Father Mankowski did a review of her books, where he proved she altered quotes and faked things so that she could prove her points. She is really a disreputable person.

@NewYorker Thank you for that. I believe you when you say, what's happening today is a revival of Christianity. I count myself among that group.

@NewYorker Thanks Bishop Barron. As it becomes increasingly obvious that legacy media is dead and has residual credibility, it’s so important to have a clear and bold proclamation of the truth of the Gospel message, and a return to biblical literacy.

@NewYorker Correct. God so loved the world. He's not some strange and bloodthirsty God that requires sacrifices - everything is given under Grace and in perfect ways. I hope that this Easter, the New Yorker and it's writers can experience peace and Grace.

This exact argument against Christianity is trotted out every year (in the UK, for decades). Non of their arguments hold any water, all are made by "scholars" with a grudge / lost reputation / Gnostic sympathizing view. Pray that the Lord may forgive them. Thank you, Your Excellency.

@NewYorker Christ is King! ✝️👑

@NewYorker Gimme a break, God the raging angeraholic 🤣🤜🏻🤛🏻

@NewYorker @BishopBarron link to New Yorker article please

@NewYorker MSM, and debunkers have tried this for 2000 years. It’s ok… even those who walked with Christ had doubts. 😊🙏🏻
