This is why I never go camping alone in some creepy and reportedly haunted woods. In a place where locals go to perform their own rituals and believe they are something they aren’t is not a place to go camping under the stars and roast marshmallows around a fire. I would save that for another time. For my take on this I wouldn’t even know where to start. One night in the tent when we did that, it was around 4am, we heard someone walking around the tent while we were using the board. We were all around 11-12 years old, we were terrified. I remember my friend telling me to open the tent and see what’s there but I didn’t. I just sat there and we waited it out.
