From 2027, Zimbabwe will require every school without exception to register its learners for ZIMSEC examinations. The era of parallel foreign examination systems operating outside our national framework is over. It's mandatory for all students to write ZIMSEC. However, schools wishing to offer both ZIMSEC and Cambridge should apply... for permission to do so provided there is justification for it. This is not an attack on academic excellence. We are not banning Cambridge examinations .This is an assertion of national sovereignty over our own Education System. Zimbabwe's children deserve to be assessed on a common, uniform standard one that this government controls, benchmarks, and continuously improves. For too long, a two-tier system has told some children that their futures are validated in Cambridge and told others that ZIMSEC is somehow second best. That ends now. Private institutions operating on Zimbabwean soil have a clear directive: align with the national framework. This is not negotiable. Government policy is unambiguous comply or fall out of step with the direction this Republic is moving. We are building one education system. One standard. One Zimbabwe. What a cruel joke this has become for the people of Uttarakhand. We have all seen the condition of government schools. During the monsoon, children risk their lives crossing broken roads and dangerous rivers just to attend classes. And now it has gone even further. Children are not safe from leopards and bears. Wild animals are entering school areas. Children are no longer just struggling to study. They are running for their lives inside and around schools. Education cannot come at the cost of survival. This is not resilience. This is neglect being normalised.

Dr. Njoki Fernandes sat on a television studio and told Kenyans that there is a private school for every pocket and that parents should stop pushing their children into congested public schools. It is the kind of statement that can only come from someone who has never had to choose between school fees and food. Nobody takes their child to a public school because they prefer it. They take them there because it is what they can afford. The parent in Kibera, the farmer in Turkana, the bodaboda rider in Eldoret did not sit down and weigh private school options against public ones. They had one option and they took it. Telling them to consider private schools is not advice. It is an insult dressed in concern. The real question that should have been asked on that television programme is this. Why are public schools congested in the first place? Why are dormitories unsafe? Why are there not enough teachers, enough classrooms, enough fire extinguishers? The answer is that the government has chronically underfunded public education while the elite that makes policy sends their own children to private schools and international institutions. They have no personal stake in fixing what they do not use. If the government fully funded public education, ensured proper capitation from primary to secondary level and made basic education genuinely free and properly resourced, the conversation would be completely different. National Medical Commission MBBS seat permission given by NMC in past two years is mockery of the health care system of india. We are competing not with Uk/ USA but our aim has become that our clg should be like russia/ ukraine so that ppl should not go there. All the business men are opening colleges and the word education is loosing its meaning. Dark chapter of medical days are being witnessed by us. Worst part many players of our team the so called big doctors are just supporting this for name fame and money. It's obvious to the whole country that there is a very serious problem with our examination system. This is not just the question of the NEET but major examinations. Now, the minister has blamed everybody except himself. I don't think he understands the fundamentals of what's going on here. The issue is that there are millions of students in this country who are extremely concerned about what is going on and who are convinced that the Indian examination system is a fraud. Millions of people believe that if you're rich, you can buy the Indian examination system, and this is the same feeling we as the Opposition have. This is why we are asking some very simple questions to the Hon. Minister. 👉As this is a systemic issue, what exactly are you doing to fix the issue at a systemic level? : LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi

The Becker Schools in Minnesota released a statement about the incident where a teacher politically berated one of her students for not agreeing with her political gaslighting. Thankfully, the incident was filmed so it wouldn’t become a ‘he said/she said’ situation that the school system would sweep under the rug. But hey … they may still do just that. In a statement made by the school … Dr Jeremy Schmidt said a lot of contradictory things, while clearing up nothing. “We are maintaining a safe, structured learning environment (blah blah blah) …” —- make that make sense … how is it safe for a student when a teacher SHUTS THEM DOWN for having a different view or opinion than the teachers?! Is that considered part of their ‘structured learning environment’?! No one ever asked the school to PUNISH their entire community of teachers … WeThePeople simply asked that the particular teacher in question be suspended or fired for not providing a safe and respectful environment for her students. As far as ‘truth-seeking’ … she is on video, those are her words and actions … you can’t get anymore truthful than that. So don’t call our eyes or ears deceitful. Without those of us on social media bringing situations like this to the forefront … our schools will continue to get away with indoctrination and we parents are sick of it. All we ask is that our kids be taught: reading, writing, math, real science (not the ‘because I feel’ science), real history (not revisionist history to fit a narrative), civics and respect for our country. Leave activism, teacher’s opinions, teacher’s private life choices OUT OF OUR SCHOOLS. Even professors, from the mostly leftist universities, are beginning to complain that students entering college now can’t even read or have a basic understanding of things. THAT is the failure of our current education system and their activist staff!

Most of our major cities are living under a blanket of poisonous air. Millions of children are getting lung diseases, their future is being destroyed, and people are getting cancer. Older people are struggling to breathe. This is an interesting issue because I am certain that there would be full agreement between the government and us on this. This is not an ideological issue; everybody in the House agrees that air pollution—and the damage it is doing to our people—is something we should co-operate on. I think it is important that the government develops a plan to get rid of air pollution in our cities. We are more than happy to co-operate with the government to develop such a plan. On this issue, we can show the country that we can work together on something that is critical. We should have a detailed discussion in Parliament on this, and the Prime Minister should put in place a methodical, systematic plan for each city—one that can, over the next 5 or 10 years, make life easier for our people. : LoP Shri Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha
