It’s designed to get 3 yards, and he might turn it up and get more. And the last, like, five times I’ve called it, he’s bypassed Juszczyk and tried to go for a deeper one. Asked why he made the decision to take out Nicolás Maduro, President Trump laid it out plainly. “It just was the right time to do it. We had to do it because it’s a war. We’re losing 300,000 people a year.” Trump then revealed new details from the raid. Thinking back to the Creator Classic yesterday…hard to believe that really happened, in the best way. I’ve been working in golf for the better part of a decade now. If you’d have told me 5 years ago that the PGA Tour would turn over East Lake the day before the Tour Championship to a bunch of content people I’d have laughed at you. What a day. Kwon practicing next to Tommy Fleetwood, the Bryan Bros getting a last-minute pep talk from Scottie, and thousands of fans coming out in 100 degree heat to hang out. That’s really what it was—a big party celebrating this new community in our game. It was amazing to see up-close the connection they all have with the fans. Didn’t see a creator turn down a single autograph or photo op or interview all day. This is what growing the game looks like. Hell of an effort from everyone involved. Feeling really grateful to be a small part of it. Something tells me that won’t be the last time. Just so much fun.
