From: Cannon Fodder (1995), dir. Katsuhiro Otomo, Studio 4°C

Love Cannon Fodder. It's available to watch on the Internet Archive, along with the other stories from the anthology film "Memories."

This had to inspire the Morden Army in the Metal Slug franchise.

For anyone wondering its part of this DVD combo set. I bought it when it came out and its such a good set of anime. Yes I am 4000 years old.

Kinda neat that the sign is in English, especially with Japanese/American relations at the time “No conquest without labor”

Theres alot more to it than this but one thing to note is that this was all ONE continuous shot. Not a single cut from start to finish in the scene.

Wasn't this on Memories?

I wouldn't hate anime if it looked like this.

Did they really have to go that far with the jiggle physics

Favorite short film

those transitions were smooth as fuck ngl

ugly male and ugly female balanced

Memories was a trippy movie. Or what ever it was.

Socialism

Because of this clip , I thought it was a full-length film, not a short one. But overall, I was satisfied after watching it. The atmosphere is interesting.

@WowsasMan Neat

Not my favorite of the three but still a good short story. "Magnetic Rose" was phenomenal.

How did you get that video of my late uncle?

Fabulous ‼️

So good.

There's a game who look like that
