From: Madeline (1952), dir. Robert Cannon, UPA

I didn't know there was an animation for Madeline aside from the 90s one! So cute

I remember watching the one where she got appendicitis when I was a kid.

i was partially named after her. so cute.

oh this made me revisit the earlier link to the UPA archive (was busy this morning downloading the chairs du cinema archive lol). I adore Madeline.

Oh wow. UPA did Madeline? I was thinking of that studio just last night.

Amazing!🤩

I loved reading the book when I was a kid and I’m pretty sure I watched the show too.

I think I read the Frankenstein one

I always felt bad for that poor tiger 😞

Pepito and The Bad Hat. Was one of the books from the Madeline series.

Ice skating!

In a house all covered with vines, twelve little girls in two straight lines. The smallest one was Madeline. I remember their guardian/ teacher was Miss Clavel. I loved reading those books. I remember when Madeleine got sick. I remember there was a boy named Pepito.
