“Atria Dawn Preview” just caught my attention after I tested it on a real frontend task. I tested Atria ASI with Claude Code on a real frontend task: build a modern, responsive landing page using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It created the files, validated the code, and opened the final result for review. What stood out was the workflow. It went from understanding the task to writing code, checking the result, and delivering something I could actually run and verify. That makes “Atria Dawn Preview” interesting to me for research, development, and other professional workflows where the goal isn’t just an answer, but a usable and verifiable result. spent the afternoon testing Atria Dawn Preview from Atria ASI, a new research agent out of Shanghai AI Lab. gave it a real task: find the 5 best-selling evs of 2024 with prices and sources, build a comparison page, flag anything you couldn't verify. it ran a dozen searches, pulled figures from real sources, built the page, and opened it. there were two prices it couldn't confirm, so it flagged them as unverified. i've watched a lot of models make numbers up when they hit a gap. We previously shared our research on Layer Skip, an end-to-end solution for accelerating LLMs from researchers at Meta FAIR. It achieves this by executing a subset of an LLM’s layers and utilizing subsequent layers for verification and correction. We’re now releasing inference code and fine-tuned checkpoints for this work. Model weights on Hugging Face ➡️ More details ➡️ We hope that releasing this work will open up new areas of experimentation and innovative new research in optimization and interpretability.
