"From what I understand, the Browns were perplexed about Watson's interceptions... decided let's give him more reps and see if he can shake this rust off, he hasn't played in 20 months. Since they increased his reps, he's had 13 TDs and 1 INT in 4 days," - Tony...

"99% of Browns fans want Shedeur play, 1% want Watson to play, and I think he's sensitive to that... our numbers show he's (Watson) getting more reps," - Tony Grossi on Todd Monken saying nothing has changed in the QB battle.

"I don't know how the Browns recover from that. I don't t know how they can put him back on the field here in Cleveland ever again...he literally sounded like he would prefer to play 17 road games." Daryl Ruiter and Nick Pedone react to #Browns QB Deshaun Watson's postgame comments

After the draft, people said the Browns can't just hand the job to Shedeur Sanders; they need to make him earn his spot, earn first-team reps, etc. And that's all very fair. Except they didn't make Dillon Gabriel earn first-team reps. "Gabriel wasn't picked third overall. He's picked in the third round. So why is he just being handed first-team reps? I don't understand that part of it. Are we willing to die on the hill for third-round pick Dillon Gabriel?"

Asked #Browns Kevin Stefanski if he'd change anything about how reps were divided among the QBs—specifically back in OTAs and training camp—considering yesterday was the first time Shedeur Sanders worked with the offensive starters since he was drafted here:

"Start Shedeur Sanders. Don't let Deshaun Watson see the field. Period. Full stop. Don't care." We asked Derek Brown for his opinion on the Browns best path forward at QB this season. "They're in t-shirts and shorts. He ain't leading nothing. They haven't had real practices yet. And now that we have OTAs opening up, oh, they're splitting reps. But I was told Deshaun Watson was definitively ahead and he was QB1! So let's cut the crap."

“I’m just trying to figure out why you want to see him (Watson) in personnel groupings when it’s my day? When it’s his day, now you can see,” - shannon sharpe reacts to the Browns giving Deshaun Watson all the 1st team reps on what was supposed to be Shedeur’s day.

"If I had to rate his performance, it's probably a D-. There's context to that, though. He's gotten no reps in practice. He hasn't played with any of the starters...coming in cold off the bench against the Ravens." Overall, Shedeur Sanders' first call from the bullpen wasn't great. But he definitely showed enough things to have us excited to see what he can do moving forward with some actual practice and preparation. "We're asking this guy to lead a game-winning drive against the Ravens, and he's got to throw a pass up to Gage Larvadain. And that guy wasn't even on the active roster for the first month."

Tom Brady shares the advice that changed his career and his mindset. He was at Michigan - he was only getting 2 practice reps while the starter got 20. He was complaining to sports psychologist Greg Harden: "How can I ever get better? All these guys get all the reps and I only get 2." Greg's response changed everything: "Just go in there and focus with the 2 that you got and make them as perfect as you possibly can." Focus on what you can control. So that's what he did. "They'd put me in for those 2. Man, I'd sprint in there like it was Super Bowl 49. 'Let's go boys! Here we go! What play we got?'" "I did really well with those 2 'cause I brought enthusiasm, I brought some energy, and I had a little more confidence in myself." You don't get what you want in life - you get what you earn. It starts with showing up and earning it every single day. "It went from 2 reps to getting 4 reps because those 2 were pretty good. Then I had 4 good reps. Then I got 10 good reps." You can always try to lead the team in effort, attitude, and perspective because it takes no talent. Then he shared the mindset shift: "Focus on what you can control. Focus on what you're getting, not what anyone else is getting. Whenever you get an opportunity, you take advantage of it. You treat it like it's the Super Bowl." Stop complaining about what you don't have. Dominate what you do. Opportunity doesn't care about fairness - it rewards how ready you are. (🎥PBD Podcast )

The Cleveland Browns QB situation is a SET UP FOR DYSFUNCTION. They have $230 Million that won’t play. Brought in 4 QBs this offseason and the last one they brought in, Shedeur Sanders, is the #1 selling jersey of all rookies despite being drafted in the 5th round after their 3rd round pick Dillon Gabriel. Joe Flacco is a Super Bowl Champion and Super Bowl MVP who will limit Kenny Pickett’s reps. Kenny Picket is a veteran going into his 4th year in the NFL who will limit Dillon Gabriel’s reps. Dillon Gabriel was a 3rd round pick this year who will get reps before his fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders. Yet, Shedeur is the headliner of the group. He sells tickets. He sells Jerseys. He sells confidence to his teammates who have said they can’t wait to play with him and non teammates. Top level players across the NFL are talking about how good of a player Shedeur Sanders is and how he was done dirty in the NFL Draft. The Cleveland Browns headliner is their 4th QB on the roster who will get the least amount of reps and opportunity in the group. That’s a set up for dysfunction. That’s the Browns. But if anyone can overcome it, it’s Shedeur Sanders and here is why ⬇️ #RG3 #NFL #ShedeurSanders #Football #OuttaPocket #GG3

Tom Brady reveals his sports psychologist told him he had a 'shitty attitude' at Michigan “'How about you start worrying about what you can control and stop talking about the coaches not putting you in?'” “'If they give you three reps, you do the best with the three you get. Quit bitching about you only getting three.'”

A new 2025 study squashed the idea that more volume increases growth, and suggested that the available growth reps in a set might just be the final four:⠀ ⠀ Trained lifters did 3-5RM on one leg and 20-25RM on the other for 9 weeks: both to failure.⠀ ⠀ Results?⠀ ⠀ Same hypertrophy. Same strength.⠀ ⠀ Only real difference: light loads improved endurance.⠀ ⠀ Why?⠀ ⠀ Because growth only happens in the final 4 reps when full motor recruitment finally kicks in.⠀ ⠀ Heavy loads reach those reps instantly.⠀ ⠀ Light loads need 15-20 junk reps just to get there.⠀ ⠀ More volume doesn’t mean more growth.⠀ ⠀ Only the stimulating reps count, and every set, heavy or light, only has about four of them.⠀ ⠀ If there were 6 stimulating reps in a set, even 5, we would have seen a difference in hypertrophy between the limbs.⠀ ⠀ This is a magnificent success for my agenda of 4-6 rep supremacy.⠀ ⠀ PMID: 40827709

"He did get some quality reps in those 3 weeks. He was running scout team and doing some other things so they could see what his arm looked like, his agility, his footwork. From a physical ability, talent standpoint he looked to some people the most talented QB on the field." 📞Mary Kay Cabot on Deshaun Watson
