All of my driving today was very smooth with no brake issues - I drove through HEAVY... construction, parking lots, highways, etc and had no issues at all related to braking. We did run into a problem where the car got stuck trying to leave the parking lot - this is a problem that a larger context window would likely fix. I appreciate your updates Devin, thank you. Do you think this release has mitigated the issue of recognizing some speed limit signs and not slowing down for them? That’s really what forces 98% of my disengagements now.

Thanks for saying that Mike! I can't give an honest answer about mis-reading speed limits... I didn't have any issues on this drive (I don't think?) but i will spend more time on 14.2 and let you know what I see.

Honestly the last frontier for FSD will be map / routing data. The issue is it always drives from out of town. Or if there was a way to give it some local context. Looking forward to watching your full vid

I've only done a short drive but I don't see why not. It feels better/safer than v14.1.7 in everyway basically

I don’t mind waiting when they’re tweaking but this is so fully baked.. And perfect for holiday travel so I hope it comes today

Parking lot and parking garage issues require reasoning engine to think reason and act and that should be coming in v14.3 or v14.4

How is curbside parking in 14.2? 14.1 parks it way too far from the curb.

Parking overall seems to be a bit worse in .2 to be honest

It should be 3 seconds Follow distance. That's what the established number is. I'm nutty about follow distance rules and if everyone did this there would be far less deaths/accidents.

Why do people aspire to 100% FSD? It's not a measure of how good a driver you are. It's a measure of how complete FSD is. If you need to drive manually in a situation, do it!!! That will signal the FSD team about what needs to get better. Everything that pushes you into manual driving is a defect in FSD.

@wholemars I found the speed profiles extremely fast on the highway. Do you feel that’s improved
