Rivian Universal Hands-Free vs Tesla Self-Driving This was my first time testing Rivian's new Universal Hands-Free, and I was honestly surprised by how it performed. I understand this is their first attempt and it will only improve from here, but truthfully, it is worse than any version of FSD or Autopilot I have ever used. I respect Rivian as a company, but I always try to remain unbiased in my opinions, so here are my unfiltered thoughts on where UHF stands today. Can Tesla Self-Driving pay for its own $99 subscription? The goal is simple - make $99 with Uber Deliveries using only Tesla FSD. The idea that a car can drive itself and 'make money' seems a bit far fetched, but we are basically there now with FSD. This video is a different style from my usual FSD videos, I try to edit it to be a bit more engaging to watch and fast paced. I hope you all enjoy it - it takes a ton of work to edit this and also just to go out and shoot them. RUSH HOUR TORTURE TEST W/ FSD V14.1.3! Last night I had some time to kill after my workout and decided to put FSD v14.1.3 to the test once again in rush hour. Instead of going straight home from the gym, we went to Best Buy, as well as other parts of the metro where we previously experienced repeated issues with v13. Along the way, we recognized several improvements, including proper identification and avoidance of an approaching of police vehicle which was super exciting! Here’s my first drive on Tesla FSD V14.2. For the first time on V14, I had zero hesitation or braking issues all day, and no interventions. From a driving perspective, and after 85 miles on and off-camera on V14.2 today, it now feels as comfortable, if not more so, than V13 did, but with all the capabilities of V14. What’s new in FSD V14.2: • Self-Driving stats section that tells you exactly how many Self-Driving miles you’ve driven and the percentage of FSD miles • You can now select speed profiles and parking preferences while in park • Upgraded the neural network vision encoder, leveraging higher resolution features to further improve scenarios like handling emergency vehicles, obstacles on the road, and human gestures • Big improvement (in my experience) to overall everyday driving comfortability • Slightly less strict attention monitoring at times In my opinion, V14.2 is good enough to be sent to every AI4 owner where FSD is legal, and for Tesla to encourage non-FSD owners/subscribers to try it. FSD did have a couple weird navigation decisions it made in my video, but that’s my only complaint. Overall, great version of FSD. 4K YouTube version of my video in thread below:

FSD V14.2.2.4 Cutting Through a Gas Station Parking Lot? I don't think I've ever seen FSD drive like this before, but on my drive this morning it happened twice in a row. Rather than proceed to the stop light, it cut into a gas station and drove through the parking lot, then did the same at the next intersection. Afterward, it pulled into a parking lot with "Do Not Enter" signs at the entrance and parked in a stall. The real issue is that I was navigating to a Tesla Supercharger nowhere near that parking lot.

FSD v14.3.4 first impressions: noticeable change in city street driving. Feels like it could be called FSD v14.4. Definitely could deserve more than a dot release, Mad Max is better around city traffic- will test parking now but first drive was great, 35 min zero interventions.

🚨 The final leg of our trip here: FSD did a great job of navigating through this parking lot and getting us onto a highway with a very short on-ramp (a very typical part of living and driving in Pennsylvania). Also, Autopark did a great job! I would like to see it improve by just being smoother, but can’t complain.
