FSD V14.1.7 | Near Accident This is without a doubt the closest I have come to getting into an accident in a long time. I think had I not taken over and slammed on the brakes we would not have slowed down in time. You can see that FSD does an incredible job reacting to the car (even before I noticed it) and was slowing down, but it was not slowing down enough to stop in time. As soon as I saw the car swerving to the right I worried she was going to bounce back into my lane so that is when I decided to go full on the brakes to stop the car. You can see prior to me taking over we were full regen braking (which is FSD reacting well) but it wasn't using any real brakes at all, and ABS was not active until I took over. Let me know what you all think in the comments. I still think FSD is incredible - the reality is if you watch the video the car saw and reacted to the situation before I did, it just didn't brake as agressively as it needed to in this situation. FSD + an attentive driver is without a doubt in my mind still safer than a normal human driver who is not using FSD.

NOT GOOD FSD 14.3.4 had a clear parking spot to the left but chose to back into a scooter cart at Walmart! Luckily I was able to pay attention and put it into drive and park.

This man has been towed twice already for parking in a handicap parking spot. So he parked in the same handicapped spot again to make a call about his other car that was towed for parking in the same spot. Holy crap. Just had a FLAWLESS drive on FSD v14.1.4 going from my parking spot at home to my gym. It parked itself in the ONLY available spot in the section perfectly. This is why I paid for FSD in full on my Model 3 🤩 Can’t wait to see how it performs on my Y!

Here’s something I don’t understand. We pull up to a vacant supercharger stop. I get a popup on the display that stall 1D is out (it’s over towards the far left side of this station). FSD pulls in, skips tons of open spots to go over and park right next to 1D 😂 I thought it was actually going to take it, but it went for 1C. Is there any connection between the charging network and FSD? Does FSD have awareness of broken down stalls? Just curious if there’s any logic to the way it chooses a spot in a scenario like this

FSD Beta 12: The One Where It Parks Itself After consistently having the car either park itself into a stall (if my destination was a parking lot) or pull to the curb out of the roadway (if the destination was on a street), I experienced this… Set the destination to a random alley in Downtown Sacramento. The car pulls into the alley, driving slow. Based on my previous experiences earlier in the drive it appears to be looking for a spot. Seems like it couldn’t find one it could fit into. Instead of stopping in the middle of the roadway (how v11 would have performed) the car rerouted itself around the block and back into the alley. When it gets back into the alley, it immediately parks into a parking stall instead of proceeding all the way to the destination. This is EXACTLY what I would have done if I was driving. After seeing there was no parking spots the first time, I would have driven around the block and parked in the first available spot I could find. Whether or not this is what actually happened is up for debate. But based on the previous 5 or so tests I performed before this, it really does seem like it was looking for a spot to park. I’ll post the video of the entire drive with the other parking examples later on today. Maybe Elon Musk can chime in as to what happened here?

I hesitate posting this for a bunch of reasons, but I think it's good to just be transparent about everything. I love to highlight all of the incredible things that FSD does, but I also think it's good to talk about any issues that it has currently. In my opinion the E2E on the highway needs some major changes. This clip was from my drive yesterday, and it is without a doubt the most dangerous situation that FSD has put me in. Yes, I am aware that it is FSD Supervised - everything that happens in the car is ultimately my responsbility. I just was wanting to see what the car would do, and I was hoping that it would make a better decision to be honest. Let me know what you think.

Good news! FSD v14.3.8 does not critically fail my parking garage from the quoted post! I tried 3 times. First 2 times it backed out with much room to spare. Third time I forced it into the spot, and it backed out in time. The situation is a little different because there was a car parked here (last time it was empty). It is around the same time of day as the quoted post. I will look for when this spot is empty and retry, but as of right now its looking good, Tesla AI 👍 All tests below: Test #1 (all FSD) ✅

Sprinkle of Cybertruck FSD mishaps. FSD v14.2.1. FSD was getting ready to make a left turn. In fairness, I pushed the pedal as there still was time to make the turn before the oncoming car. However, I took the foot off and the truck came to a stop. Then when the turn was almost complete, FSD threw the red hands and the message said "Aborted with a system error." If you are wondering why I looked at the camera in between, I wanted to make sure it was recording the situation. I have hours of video footage I recorded while driving on FSD 14.2 and 14.2.1.

FSD V14.2.2.4 enters parking garage and parks in the first available parking spot while avoiding parking in handicap spots. It also does it backup in one shot - and it did every single park job tonight in one move and did them all very quickly. It’s so hard to tell what’s changing in these versions - but destination parking does feel really good right now.

Yesterday driving home on FSD v14.3.8, I was talking to my husband when a black SUV drifted into my lane. FSD eased us onto the rumble strip, which startled me, so I grabbed the wheel, disengaged and blared the horn. Looking back, I should’ve just let FSD handle it. I was so mad. No idea what that guy was doing. Zoom in at the end and you can see he drifted out of the far right lane as well.

If you're short, you're really going to be in trouble; I just bought a 2026 Model Y and I used FSD for 350 miles, and I was blown away; I had a lot of anxiety doing it, but after about 5 minutes I was comfortable. I was a combustion engine guy for a long time, but now I'm a Tesla owner."

Cybertruck FSD crashes into coworkers car. Not a good look, I was showing a friend how awesome FSD is. We drove up the street and back and this is how it pulled into a parking spot. Cybertruck Tesla Wham Baam Teslacam I’ve logged thousands upon thousands of FSD miles and this has never happened.

Has anyone had success setting their home driveway spot in your driveway or garage for navigation with FSD with the Holiday update? Ive tried to set my S to Park inside my garage a few times and it will not park inside garage. It keeps parking in front of garage either forward, or backing and parking in front of garage. For my Cybertruck I set it on the map to park in the third side spot in my drive way, but it will not pull over there, it pulls in front of the garage as well. Here are few videos. This is the first night since having the new holiday update, so I'll keep checking to see if it parks in correct spot, but so far it hasn't really made a difference. Has it worked for anyone else?

Had the weirdest Tesla FSD experience today. Without any warning and with my destination kilometers away, the car just decided to park on the side of the road in a small intersection and it stayed there until I took over. At first I thought it was moving aside to let a priority vehicle pass, but there was none. No idea what the heck the car was thinking 🧐🤷‍♂️. I would love to be able to ask “why did you do this?” Tesla_AI Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa
