I think I got nine weeks to go in this course and part of it is I’m writing a thesis. So it’s a lot of ground work, and busy work… it’s going well, I’m very much looking forward to it being done and having a little bit of brain space free. A completely unnecessary, heavy-handed show of force against one woman. No context justifies this level of aggression. The police are supposed to be a public service, working with the people. Instead, they’ve become state enforcers, an arm of the regime delivering selective justice and raw intimidation.
