Dude like a week ago some guy posted on X, no clue who it even was. But it was a decent sized account. He was like, ‘my brother has a smoked cheese company. He has no idea I’m doing this, but go buy his cheese!’ And then he plugged his brother’s website. Myself and many others jumped in and bought all of his inventory. My cheese arrived today and here is my review.

I've been obsessing over Runway Gen-4.5 this past week. I tested it quite extensively, and I noticed a few things that should be fundamental to any video model: 1. Amazing spatial awareness. It just knows what comes next in the scene and renders it perfectly, with the correct distance, geometry, and style. 2. It understands the space and time. For example, how a character interacts with the environment, even if you don't prompt for it: High altitude > Windy. 3. This spatial sense of motion and place makes it look natural and cinematic. Regarding this last point, I've said it many times here on X that Runway needs to get out of the slow-motion era, and in the end, they delivered massively on it. It's just beautiful to watch scenes come to life naturally. Now, we just need sound and 1080p. Cristóbal Valenzuela take your time, we're here.

Richard Childress says it was "incredible" watching Brexton Busch this past Tuesday while discussing his abilities as a race car driver. Brexton was seen at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Tuesday driving his Legends car in opening practice for the Summer Shootout. Childress says the Kyle Busch stylized No. 8 is there for Brexton if he ever wants to run it in the future for any team in NASCAR. They hold the rights to the number, so they can save it for the future if Brexton chooses to use it as his own. As far as helping Brexton and putting him in the best possible position for his future: "I think, again, just showing him the respect - and trying not to put more pressure on him, just like Dale Jr., not put more pressure on him. I think that he's got a great future ahead. That kid can drive a race car. ... He's just a bright young man and a great little race driver. He'll carry the Busch legacy many years to come."

I’m proud of the progress this Rayce Rudeen Foundation team is making right now. We didn’t qualify as well as we wanted at the #Vegas4WideNats, but, with the Four-Wide, I don’t feel it is that important for eliminations. We were runner-up in the first quad (four cars) on a tie (time) and then, we outright won the next round and that makes us feel like we are gaining on it. I told the team that we are way ahead of where we were last week at Phoenix. And that was way ahead of the runs at Gainesville and Pomona. I feel like the team is doing a great job improving with each race, and we are in the window that we can make some small adjustments and pick speed. I think the crew is a little dejected with the final, but from the boss’ perspective, I can see us gaining on it. And we made great progress in just a week. I like seeing them pout a bit right now because of losing, but I’ll get them smiling again and ready for Charlotte. We will focus on the positive moving forward. 🎥 Las Vegas Motor Speedway

MALCOLM X: 'YOU'RE MORE DANGEROUS SOBER THAN DRUNK' This week marks the 100th birthday of revolutionary Pan-Africanist icon Malcolm X (19 May 1925 - 21 February 1965). The founder of the Organization of Afro-American Unity clearly understood the dangers of escapism for the liberation of African people. In this 1963 video clip, Malcolm X highlighted how entertainment and drugs have distracted descendants of enslaved people in the United States. It's much like the 'bread and circuses' of ancient Rome. Many decades later, the Pan-Africanist's remarks ring true. Capitalist entertainment companies have hijacked and diluted cultural products rooted in radical Black consciousness, such as hip-hop, turning the art form into a medium that glorifies misogyny, drug and alcohol use, and self-hate. The ongoing case of Sean 'Diddy' Combs, a hip-hop megastar and record executive accused of s*x trafficking, s*xual assault and racketeering, is an example of the degenerate influence. While distracted, we cannot agitate for our interests. For example, no comprehensive plan exists to compensate Africans in the United States for their ancestors' forced labour. Further, the over-policing of Black communities feeds our people into the US prison-industrial complex.
