It doesn't matter how many hoops I have to jump in I will ALWAYS use adblock even if it gets banned im strokin my shit. AD BLOCK TILL THE DAY I DIE. The internet without Adblock is a cess pool with 16 embedded ads and 42 side, top, bottom banners that redirect you to "Cunt Wars"

Google already steals every semblance of my privacy. They can go fuck themselves. I shall ad-block till privacy is restored!

Yea thats a no @Asmongold, with regard to streaming subscription services, im paying for that streaming service, im not agreeing to pay to watch 50 ads a day just because some video/movie/tv show (streaming service) wants to sell MY WATCH TIME to other companies. And 90% of the time I can't get through a 1015 minute video on YouTube without there being 7 or 8 1:30sec ads so fuck that. You know there was this time about 20 ish years ago or so when these streaming services operated & marketed on the fact that they didn't have ads and that was the advertisement to bring you over from cable TV because cable TV was $80 a month and 50% of the content was ads. Now people are really talking about it's stealing to use ad blockers for something that you didn't agree to fucking watch in the first place.

Retarded take. Ads have no benefits to society. Because google succeeded in making believe they are necessary for their dominant top profits worldwide products, people dont challenge it . But its obvious they arent necessary at all. Many products exist withour any advertisement

His opinion is his own. I think companies should pay us for using our data to serve ads; otherwise we should have the right to keep them off our devices.

I would appreciate a full contract with all data collection and costs on the table. Currently, the "free with advertising" is a lopsided deal that hosts and creators hope stays a mystery to the users.

If they made YouTube a $1 subscription or $10 per year and you could watch all YouTube videos in 1080p while those who want 4K pay $3, nobody would use AdBlock. I would not have a problem paying like $20-$30 for this little subscription for all the content I consume, like X, YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Instagram, etc. But if they make me pay $10-$15 each month for each service or have tons of ads every 5-10 min, then no thank you!

Fun fact: Youtube and Twitch once had no ads. Its not our fault that these sites gets flooded with people who want to get paid, if anything the sites were better before those people came. Also ads only decrease in value, so like TV you now pay for the channel showing you ads.

Problem with ads is we pay for subscription to not have ads, then the company changes pricing and puts ads back in. It keeps going and going tv used to be free because it paid itself through ads. It’s always pay more and we will still show more ads ( greed fucked up a good thing) so at this point fuck them since they steal my time and money.

I've been using Brave browser for a while now. I would never go back. These adds run on YOUR hardware, they waste YOUR bandwidth. No matter what companies might think, if their monetisation pattern relies on something happening on my hardware, they are going to be dissappointed.

I don't have an issue with ads in theory, I do have an issue with ad networks that don't properly vet those paying to serve up ads and instead serve up malware and scams. So I run an ad blocker. Sorry, not sorry.

If it’s free content requiring no subscription then I’m ok with an ad that can be skipped, but if I’m paying a subscription then there should be zero ads.

if ad-block is stealing, then switching tabs during an ad, and playing chess for a minute, is stealing. What a silly argument. there's no social contracts, it's just competing mechanisms that need to be adapted to, a war game really.

Jordan Peterson: "If you're competent and silent you will be ignored." "You might think well people should reward you because you're competent. And yes of course they should. But if you're competent and silent then you're just part of the background that's keeping everything functioning" On why you cannot negotiate from a position of weakness: "If you want to push your career forward you have to push it forward. You have to be competent and you have to be strategic" "To be strategic when you negotiate for a new position or a new salary you have to be able to say if you don't give me what I want then something you don't like will happen to you" "It's not a physical threat. It's that you have an option" "You have your CV in order. You're educated and competent and desirable to people outside of your immediate job. You're willing to instantly put yourself on the job market" "So that when you go talk to the person you're negotiating with you're credible" On the one thing most people completely miss about negotiation: "It's very seldom that you're talking to the person who's at the top of the pecking order. What you need to do is tell them a story that they can tell to their boss to make you not a problem" "A good story is look we really need this person because they're hyper competent and they have a better offer" "If you go in there with no power you're going to lose. Obviously" He concludes with the one thing every competent person needs to hear: "The first thing you need to know if you're going to negotiate is that you have to be able to say no. And what no means is that you're not going to do it"

🦖: I don’t feel anything (about the situation). It all started because of my fan and (the post) said “Why do gay tops like to wear Stussy?”. I felt like teasing them so I said “Because it is cool”. Then some people said “But with this style/appearance, you do not seem like a top”. When I express myself, no matter what I am, it is something that came out of my mouth. So I feel that when there are people who would judge, for example, when you stated, “you are a male”, but there is someone who says, “But you are not a male”. How would you know what that person is? isn’t that right? Regarding the topic of gender and preference in terms of your role during intercourse, it is a private and sensitive matter. Since you are not living with them, you have no reason to judge them on whether they are a top or bottom. I feel that we have no right to judge people on these matters. In 2025, everyone can choose who they want to be and in these times, the world is more open-minded. Anything can happen. This kind of thing is fluid and a very personal matter. 🦖: I feel that when it is a very personal and sensitive thing, there might be a certain group of people who are not be comfortable expressing that they are not straight. Besides not being straight, this also includes having to state their sexual preference or their role during intercourse. It is way beyond that. So I feel that if they are comfortable expressing who they are, but you just feel that their outward appearance does not align with what you think, and then you judge them by saying “But this is not right, this appearance should be a bottom. There is no way.” How would you know? Isn’t that right? OUROAD AT SIAM PARAGON #SiamParagonSummer2025xOUROAD #ต้าห์อู๋ #Daou #Oueiija

.Rob Miles is spitting fire: “People are starting from a prior in which ‘[AIs] are safe until you give me an airtight case for why they're dangerous.’ This framing is exhausting. You explain one of the 10,000 ways that AIs could be dangerous, then they explain why they don't think that specific thing would happen. Then you have to change tack, and then they say, 'your story keeps changing'... "If you're building an AGI, it's like building a Saturn V rocket [but with every human on it]. It's a complex, difficult engineering task, and you're going to try and make it aligned, which means it's going to deliver people to the moon and home again. People ask “why assume they won't just land on the Moon and return home safely?" And I'm like, because you don't know what you're doing! If you try to send people to the moon and you don't know what you're doing, your astronauts will die. [Unlike the telephone, or electricity, where you can assume it’s probably going to work out okay] I contend that ASI is more like the moon rocket. "The moon is small compared with the rest of the sky, so you don't get to the moon by default - you hit some part of the sky that isn't the moon. So, show me the plan by which you predict to specifically hit the moon." And then people say, “how do you predict that [AIs] will want bad things?” There's more bad things than good things! It's not actually a complicated argument... I'm not going to predict specifically where it off into random space your astronauts are going, but you're not going to hit the moon unless you have a really good, technically clear plan for how you do it. And if you ask these people for their plan, they don't have one. What's Yann Lecun’s plan?” "I think that if you're building an enormously powerful technology and you have a lot of uncertainty about what's going to happen, this is bad. Like, this is default unsafe. If you've got something that's going to do enormously influential things in the world, and you don't know what enormously influential things it's going to do, this thing is unsafe until you can convince me that it's safe." HOST: “That’s a good way of thinking about it - with some technologies you can assume that the default will be good or at least neutral, or that the capacity of a person to use this in a very bad way is bounded somehow. There's just only so many people you could electrocute one by one."

I hear so often from the Dommes I work with that they struggle with people online fetichizing them and simply seeing them for how sexy and beautiful they are. They project their fantasies and their desires onto you. That stops immediately once you move the attention from you to them. From 'look at me' to 'I see you'. What does that look like? When you create content, think of them and what this scene or that narrative is evoking. What will they learn from you? What they want is not to passively watch how sexy you are, but for you to train them, to give them instructions, to teach them, to guide them, to be in charge, to command them. This is not being an object but the main subject. The Authority figure. How is your content already doing that. The sexy photos can still be there, they are important to already capture des attention. But what you do with that attention once you have it, is where the power dynamic is established. Positioning yourself as more than a stunning Goddess, but actually a woman who has a voice, opinions, perspective, a philosophy, a way to doing things, teaching them what you like, how you like it, why you like it, already makes them want to be that for you. You hold the attention, you hold the power, so you direct it. And for that, you want them to know you get them and you know what lives within them... that creates the desire for you to be the one exposing it. You instantly build trust. Not because you demanded it, but because you earned it: you showed them you know what you are doing. You have experience, you understand them. They are not told to come see you, they are seduced into it. They desire it. And they will work for it. This will attract better clients (real subs) and instead of you trying to get their attention, they will work to earn yours. If you want to learn more about power dynamics, building a brand as a Pro or the psychology behind BDSM, you can now access all my trainings and classes in one place for a fraction of the cost of The Dominatrix Academy. And you can reinvest the total amount towards the Program. Message me [SECRET] for the details. This offer is not available on my website.

ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos: “You call them lunatics but the president just had this post where he says ‘we’re in discussions with a new and more reasonable regime’ – let me try to pin you down on that, who is this ‘new and more reasonable regime’? Is the United States in direct contact with them?” State Secretary Marco Rubio: “I’m not going to disclose to you who those people are, because it probably would get them in trouble with some other groups of people inside of Iran. Look, there’s some fractures going on there internally. And at the end of the day, I think that if there are people in Iran who now, given everything that’s happened, are willing to move in a different direction for their country, that would be great. Imagine in Iran that instead of spending their wealth, billions of dollars supporting terrorists or weapons, had spent that money helping the people of Iran, you’d have a much different country.” “So we are always hopeful that that would exist over there. It’s unfortunate, the people of Iran are incredible people. The people who lead them, this clerical regime, that is the problem. And if there are new people now in charge who have a more reasonable vision of the future, that would be good news for us, for them, for the entire world. But we also have to be prepared for the possibility, maybe even the probability, that that is not the case. So we’re gonna test it.” George Stephanopoulos: “But the president said they are, is that the case or is it not? I’m just trying to get some clarity on that.” Marco Rubio: “So you have people that are saying some of the right things privately. Obviously, they’re not going to put it out in press releases and what they say to you or put out there for the world doesn’t necessarily reflect what they’re saying in our conversations.”

The founders of Stripe and Pinterest on how to convince people to join your startup Stripe CEO Patrick Collison argues that part of the reason startups resonate so much is because the outcome is not guaranteed: "If it were guaranteed, it would be boring... Whether or not you're the best person in the world at what you do, you're probably not going to alter Google's trajectory. But if you really want to benchmark yourself and see how much of a contribution and impact you can make--which is a really compelling prospect for a lot of the best people--a startup is a much better place to test that." Pinterest founder Ben Silbermann emphasized this as well: "No smart person that you're hiring is under the illusion that you have a crystal ball into the future and that joining is a guaranteed thing. In fact, if you're telling them that and they select in, you shouldn't hire them because they didn't pass a basic intelligence test. I think it's important to tell them what's exciting and where you think the company can go. But also tell them where it will be hard and chart your best plan. And then tell them why their role can be instrumental--because it will be... What I would discourage doing is whitewashing all of that. If people are joining your company because they want all of the certainty and safety of working at Google but also the perks of working at a small startup with lots of responsibility and transparency, that's a really negative sign." Apparently in the early days of PayPal, Peter Thiel and Max Levchin would tell people after they interviewed all the reasons that the company would fail: "Visa and MasterCard want to kill us. We also might be doing something that's illegal. But if we succeed, we'll redefine payments." Don't whitewash the risks. Instead tell them how your startup will change the world if you succeed and how their role will be instrumental in affecting that change. Video source: Y Combinator (2014)
