They cover prime agricultural land and in so doing wreck the soil below for any future use once people realise that solar panel farms are the scam some of us know they are. One good wind storm and the panels are wrecked thus creating a pollution problem when they're thrown away. This a solar panel farm in Wales much damaged after a storm.

What a load of old codswallop. Your a money grabbing farmer hating fool nincompoop. The countryside needs prime arable land not these black glass inefficient bits of crap. We're better off with nuclear power, coal mining, fracking and drilling for oil. Renewable Energy is a con.

Fun Fact - you gave Labour £5.4m before the general election & was awarded the contract last week. Another Fun Fact - World Bank survey put 🇬🇧 last but one in the world for solar efficiency. Ireland beat us for being the worst.

FUN FACT. We know they’re futile. Especially with the large scale solar radiation management. Stratospheric aerosol injection, and GEOENGINEERING in general. You have to be insane to think this agenda will continue to rise. It’s dead already.

I asked the Minister, if one of his Government's priorities was to put large Solar Farms on prime agricultural land, or if he, as Minister for farming, would look to stop any significant solar farms that include prime agricultural land, to ensure that we have every means possible to create that sustainable food nation, if that is indeed is his true intention. He didn’t answer. I have now written to him for one. I have a totally unsuitable 300 Acre Solar Farm proposal in my constituency - that spans across 3 local Authority boundaries - Monmouthshire, Torfaen and Newport - that includes prime agricultural land. Land, that if the project goes ahead, will be dead land from then on. This Candwr Solar Farm development needs to be stopped. For a whole host of reasons. But we need to protect prime agricultural land and use it for food production. #solarfarms #candwr #Wales

If you look at the cost of solar power five years ago, 10 years ago, or 20 years ago, it would have seemed cost-prohibitive. But the cost of solar power today is extremely low. The cost of batteries to store that energy has also dropped dramatically. Battery storage costs have fallen by a factor of 10 in the past five years. So many of the studies that were done were done in times past, when batteries were very expensive and solar power was very expensive. I would just encourage everyone to take another look at the cost of solar and the cost of batteries. I think you’ll find that you’re pleasantly surprised. Elon Musk
