Espn was also the first network to put the score on the screen all the time as well run a sports ticker on the bottom of the screen . I remember on 9/11 when the other networks started using the ticker for news

Now, ESPN and other networks can present a host of information tidbits for the viewer immersion like down and distance, penalties called, and more. and People like @danorlovsky7 can draw on the screen and educate us all. What a lot of people don't realize, is that the tech is now available for us common Joes, with apps like @TRACAB_ 's Coach Paint, where we can also yellow line the field, circle a player or add annotations to the screen. @ESPNNFL Thanks for your vision and getting us to a new level of fandom!
