Fun fact: Apple’s iOS 26 wasn’t the first to implement light refraction into the system OPPO did it 8 months earlier with ColorOS 15, lol 😏

Ngl, the best thing Apple did lately is Liquid Glass with iOS 26. iPhone finally looks as premium as it costs.

I’m just gonna say it: I’m disappointed with iOS 27. - It is fast, sure. - It is snappy too. - It fixes many bugs that were there since iOS 26. - It improves Liquid Glass drastically. The problem is, when I heard at WWDC26 that Apple is making iOS 27 all about optimization and polish, I was expecting iOS to return to its former glory of iOS 15. But, iOS 27 is not even 70% polished as iOS 15 was. There’s so many little things and attention to details that iOS 15 had and iOS 27 simply doesn’t. Here’s a few examples: - When you picked up a call before the contact poster update in iOS 17, using the swipe gesture, the swipe indicator itself transitions into the red hang-up button. Smoothly. On iOS 27, there’s no such transition. It just happens. - On iOS 27, the Photos app is still very slow and janky in the Collections tab. It takes several seconds for everything to load. - Just look at the Safari below. It’s just so smooth, flowy, and animations are designed so well before the Liquid Glass update. iOS 27 Safari feels like a huge downgrade. I was expecting iOS 27 to work on these little details around the system that have been going away since iOS 16. But it didn’t.

Mobile LiDAR system in China. It projects green laser light into the sky, and airborne particles scatter the light back to the sensor, allowing it to measure air pollution in real time

Fun fact: it was such a mess with horrible reviews, that she had to give out daily free tickets on stationhead bc the 2nd leg wasn’t selling.

How many push-ups did you do today? Today was the first time in a long time I wasn’t able to crunch them out with ease. 😏

Fun fact: modding Subnautica into VR was the reason we even started the Flat2VR Discord in the first place. So excited for Subnautica 2! It's starting to come together already with UEVR!

Congratulations to our friends and almost-neighbors IO Interactive with the launch of 007: First Light! 🍻 Tonight, we're taking a break from the dark caves and stepping into the First Light.

Updated to iOS 27 Dev Beta 8 The beta is coming to an end, but most visual bugs haven’t been fixed. However, the increase in overall smoothness of the system is CRAZY imo. iOS truly feels fluid now. Though, still with lots of visual imperfections

After going through many versions, the animation in iOS 26.3 Beta 2. Compared to the initial animations in iOS 26, it seems to be a bit slower, with some minor adjustments in details. Can you accept the current animation now?
