Inspired by the Telegram’s iOS 26 Animated Tab Bar ✌️ I just traversed through the tab bar to find the associated Image views and simply added SF Symbol Effects to them, and it just works perfectly fine. NOTE: This is a native tab view with a tab bar.

I found an old screen recording from my iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 17 Decided to compare the animations to my iPhone 17 with iOS 27, and I have so many thoughts 😭 Overall, iOS 17 is INFINITELY smoother than iOS 27, purely due to its animation speed. Opening and closing apps is slow and elegant, accompanied by a beautiful wallpaper zoom. 27 is rough, fast, and lacks fluidity. For some reason, they got rid of the wallpaper zoom when opening/closing apps, making everything feel flat. All of that is paired with the atrocious performance of the iOS screen recorder that started with iOS 18 and still hasn’t been fixed. Notice how there are zero jitters on iOS 17, but both jitters and artifact on 27. This is not a hate post. I just wanted to share my thoughts. And no, this isn’t the problem of a “beta”. Stable iOS 26 has the exact same issues. Thanks 💔

Kinda forgot about my "enhance-shader-lighting" project for which I wanted to release a demo some time ago. I updated it - migrated to vite and rollup, compressed the textures/models, added TRAA and polished the UI. I'll release it today with the demos shown in the video!

i completely forgot about my ios app and started making $1k a day all with slideshows 😭 if i had to start from zero, this is exactly what i'd do: - understand my niche on a psychological level - know the exact lifestyle they live or wish they lived - hunt the made-for-fun formats already going viral with nothing to sell - build the app to fit a format, never the other way around - obsess over the copy and the pacing, then run it across accounts the game has genuinely never been easier no ugc, no ads, just slideshows 😌
