Funny thing happened last night when I expressed support for the constitutional amendment to raise the voting age to 25 (or else to require civics exam or national service at age 18). The younger people were, the more they seemed to like it.

Restricting their vote would be easier than promoting policies that young voters would support, I guess.

Now try land-owners only.

How about amend the constitution on TERM LIMITS! $MMTLP This is just a small portion of what CONGRESS receives from Hedge Funds! How about the @GOP & @TheDemocrats reimburse the 99.5% since they aid and abet these predators! Allowing them to DESTROY small cap companies while robbing retail investors of our 401Ks, IRAS, Savings, & Pensions all through the creation of #counterfeitshares aka Naked Shorts! #ReleaseTheBlueSheet BAND Lobbying elected officials with “DONATIONS” and set TERM LIMITS! Every American should be TERRIFIED! JAIL not BAIL! @GOPoversight

Do not alienate the next generation of voters. Our youth need to know they are trusted. This proposed amendment is well meaning but not well thought out.

Most young people I know are insecure about life because they feel they have had no guidance. I have met young people who are angry that they were not taught basic life skills like how to balance a checkbook or do a budget. I think young people are still looking for it.

What does this solve? If you’re a legal adult at 18, your rights shouldn’t be cut short. Was a good ride my dude, but you’ve lost me.

So, they pay taxes to a government and actively participate in a society in which they have no say in who takes office??

But your whole argument is that their voice shouldn’t count!

Take the vote away from 18-25 year olds .. you aren’t even hiding it any longer…youre a nut

And how about those who are too young to vote don't pay taxes. No taxation without representation!
