No non-Jewish person my age has a longer or clearer record of support for Israel, sympathy with the Jewish people, or opposition to antisemitism than I do. I regularly refer to antisemitism as a "lie from the pit of Hell," because it is. But I have to disagree with Amb. Friedman here. The First Amendment and our strict freedom of speech is one of America's greatest rights and sets us apart from every other country in the world. One of the central promises of Trump's 2024 campaign was to restore and protect American freedom of speech. Five years ago, our elites tried to destroy free speech in America in order to stop "racism." Immediately and predictably, stopping "racism" became a justification for wrecking our cities and wrecking the lives of people who did nothing wrong. Simultaneously, in the name of stopping "transphobia," they tried to make it impossible to dissent against the mutilation of children or radical gender propaganda in schools. The criminal witch hunts against President Trump by Fanni Willis and Jack Smith both tried to criminalize President Trump's speech, indicting him for making tweets or delivering speeches. Racism and antisemitism are both evil and must be opposed. But a government organized around jailing, impoverishing, or silencing people based on "racism" is what our enemies wanted. We should not repeat their mistakes just because some keffiyeh-wearing communists are protesting on campuses. If you don't like a person's opinion that doesn't mean they are an antisemite. But once "antisemitism" becomes valid grounds to censor or even imprison somebody, there will be frantic efforts to label all kinds of speech as antisemitic — the same way the left labeled all kinds of statements as "racist" to justify silencing their opposition. Not only that, but all of this won't even work: A legal crackdown won't make antisemitism go away. In the long run, it would make it worse! America's free speech tradition is our birthright. We should never get rid of it.

Elon Musk's supposed "Nazi Salute" was a hoax used to justify violence and threats against Musk and his companies. In reality, Musk was just jumping around like a giddy retard — not celebrating Naziism. You've probably seen still images or just the salute, but not the full video. His whole speech was only 4 minutes long. Watch it below. Is he excited? Sure. Awkward, cringe and on the spectrum? Certainly. But is he advocating for the extermination of the jewish people? Absolutely not. We now know that some of Musk's children are actually jewish. Do you honestly believe he would do a nazi salute signaling a desire to kill his own children? If so, you are deeply brainwashed. You have been lied to and shown excerpts of this video so that you can be used as a puppet in a larger political game. They know most people will not watch the whole speech, only the clip, and will come away thinking that the speech was about killing jews rather than optimism and going to Mars. Until recent years, I was a Democrat. But what has troubled me in recent years is the propensity of the democratic party to use hoaxes such as this regularly to brainwash the American people. Claims that Elon Musk is a nazi or that he is trying to steal American's personal financial information would be laughable if it was not the actual messaging coming from one of our major political parties. Ask yourselves: If they're willing to lie to you about this, what else are they willing to lie to you about? No matter how much name calling they resort to, no matter how many times they call Elon Musk a nazi and Teslas "Swasticars", it will always be a lie. A lie that hurts American industry, American manufacturing, and American workers. Let's make sure these constant lies, hoaxes, and attacks continue to backfire — just like they did in the last election.

Moksha in Advaita Vedanta: Not a Destination, but a Recognition In Advaita Vedanta, Moksha is not described as a place to reach, a world to escape to, or a future reward after death. Moksha is knowledge — the clear seeing of what has always been true. It is the end of ignorance, not the acquisition of something new. According to Advaita, the fundamental mistake of human life is adhyāsa — the superimposition of the non-Self upon the Self. We take ourselves to be the body, the mind, the roles, the doer, the sufferer. From this misunderstanding arises fear, desire, attachment, and the sense of bondage. Moksha is the dissolution of this misunderstanding. Moksha Is Not “Going Somewhere” Advaita Vedanta firmly rejects the idea that liberation is a journey to another realm. The Self (Ātman) is already free, eternal, and complete. If liberation were something to be attained, it would be impermanent. But the Upanishads declare: “You are That” (Tat Tvam Asi) This means that Brahman, the absolute reality, is not separate from you. Therefore, Moksha cannot be an event in time or a change in location. It is the recognition that bondage itself was never real. Bondage Was Never Real The statement “the bondage that seemed real never actually existed” is central to Advaita. The world of suffering is compared to mistaking a rope for a snake in dim light. The fear feels real, the reaction is real, but the snake was never there. Similarly, ignorance (avidyā) creates the illusion of limitation. When the right knowledge (jñāna) arises, nothing physically changes. The body remains, the world continues, actions happen — but the false identification collapses. The individual no longer takes the body or mind to be the Self. The Body Is Not Abandoned, the World Is Not Escaped Advaita does not teach rejection of the world through physical renunciation alone. Liberation does not require the body to be destroyed or society to be abandoned. What falls away is the belief that “I am this body” or “I am bound by this world.” The liberated one (jīvanmukta) lives fully in the world while knowing it as mithyā — not unreal, but dependent, temporary, and not absolute. The world continues to appear, but it no longer binds. Moksha as the End of Forgetfulness Moksha is often described as smṛti — remembrance. It is remembering one’s true nature as pure awareness (chaitanya), untouched by birth and death. Nothing new is gained; rather, something false is lost. “You can’t yell fire in a crowded theater!” How many times have you heard advocates of censorship say that? Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz repeated it last night in his debate with Republican vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance. In so doing, Walz spread misinformation. It’s not illegal to yell fire in a crowded theater. That’s a myth. The expression refers to a 1919 Supreme Court opinion superseded by the 1969 Brandenberg v. Ohio decision. Tim Walz had previously claimed that spreading misinformation about elections was illegal. It’s not. How could it be? If the government censored disfavored views on elections, how would we ever know if our elections were truly free and fair? I debunked Walz’s claim on X last night, and it’s happily now been viewed over 10 million times. As satisfying as that is, it’s still not enough. If Walz and Harris get elected, they may attempt to ramp up the censorship we have been documenting and denouncing. As such, all of us who care about freedom of speech must push ourselves to find ways to persuade our fellow citizens of the benefits of free speech over censorship. Now, you might not feel like making the case for free speech personally to friends and family, and you certainly don’t need to. But many people have emailed me over the last three years expressing dismay at how many Democrats they know are in favor of free speech. I share their dismay. Support among Democrats for government censorship of online misinformation grew from 40% to 70% between 2018 and 2023. It was shocking to testify before Congress on free speech issues last year only to discover how many Democrats wanted more censorship. And so I made this video for people looking for a way to talk to friends and family about censorship, one of the greatest threats to our democracy. After working on free speech issues three years ago, I realized that I had taken my support for free speech for granted. I had forgotten that my parents and others had taught me the importance of free speech. It wasn’t something that came naturally. I still remember when my father explained to me why the Supreme Court let Nazis march through a neighborhood of Holocaust survivors. I remember being shocked by this and thinking such a thing lacked compassion. Only gradually, over several years, I saw the wisdom of free speech, not simply in allowing fundamental human expression but also as the best response to lies and hatred. That raises a few questions: Will the same approach that worked with me work with people today? Who needs to be persuaded, exactly? And what appears to move them? Over the last few years my colleagues and I have read through the public opinion research, interviewed, and spoken with hundreds of people in the West. One significant finding is that the people in favor of censorship today tend to be more female than male and more on the political Left than Right. And I’m happy to say that I finally feel confident in explaining what moves them to favor free speech and more opposed to censorship. The research on support for free speech is mixed. Initially, older adults were more inclined to favor restrictions, but polling by the Pew Research Center shows that this gap has closed. Similarly, a 2022 Knight Foundation survey indicated that younger people, while valuing free speech highly, have become more supportive of limiting online harmful content. However, a recent 2024 survey of Australians found that younger people were more supportive of free speech and against censorship than older people. The main reason women and people on the left are more supportive of censorship appears to be to reduce harm. This is consistent with the research by psychologists Jonathan Haidt and others that where conservatives tend to hold a broader set of traditional values, progressives have reduced the number of core values they hold strongly to just one: compassion. Earlier research found people on the Left also hold the value of freedom, but it is notably selective, as rising Democratic support for censorship shows. “Women are more supportive of illegalizing insults of immigrants, homosexualindividuals, transgender individuals, the police, African Americans, Hispanics, Muslims, Jewish people, and Christians, and are more supportive of banning sexually explicit public statements and flag burning,” noted psychologist Cory Clark in Psychology Today in 2021. “One likely reason for this pattern is that women are more averse to interpersonal harm and have a relatively stronger concern for protecting others.” So, to move people to support free speech, we should first appeal to compassion since it’s the core value of Democrats, progressives, liberals, and people on the Left today. After you anchor people in compassion, you can make the intellectual case for why free speech is more compassionate than censorship. This approach is also critical to avoid triggering cognitive dissonance, which is the discomfort individuals feel when they realize they hold contradictory beliefs or are confronted with information that challenges their existing views. If people feel attacked or cornered, they often respond by doubling down on their beliefs to reduce this discomfort, a phenomenon known as "motivated reasoning" or "defensive processing." Avoiding accusatory language, empathetic listening, and framing the conversation around shared values can prevent defensive responses and encourage reflection. “If you must present evidence threatening to the audience’s worldview,” wrote a team of psychologists in 2016, “you may be able to reduce the worldview backfire effect by presenting your content in a worldview-affirming manner.” Readers of Public may recall what I discovered when interviewing people on the streets of Dublin, Ireland, about free speech. Simply slowing people down and forcing them to engage in “slow thinking” rather than “fast thinking” made them more receptive to free speech arguments. Slowing people down allows them to relax, remember the past, and imagine potential futures. And simply asking questions demonstrates respect and triggers a feeling of obligation by most people to offer truthful answers. How you approach the topic will depend on whether you’re talking with a friend or relative or moderating a presidential debate, but it should include affirming shared values. You might say, “There’s been a lot of debate about censorship and misinformation. Most of us, myself included, care a lot about protecting vulnerable people and countering bad information while protecting people’s right to free speech. The main reason women and people on the left are more supportive of censorship appears to be to reduce harm. This is consistent with the research by psychologists Jonathan Haidt and others that where conservatives tend to hold a broader set of traditional values, progressives have reduced the number of core values they hold strongly to just one: compassion. Earlier research found people on the Left also hold the value of freedom, but it is notably selective, as rising Democratic support for censorship shows. “Women are more supportive of illegalizing insults of immigrants, homosexualindividuals, transgender individuals, the police, African Americans, Hispanics, Muslims, Jewish people, and Christians, and are more supportive of banning sexually explicit public statements and flag burning,” noted psychologist Cory Clark in Psychology Today in 2021. “One likely reason for this pattern is that women are more averse to interpersonal harm and have a relatively stronger concern for protecting others.” So, to move people to support free speech, we should first appeal to compassion since it’s the core value of Democrats, progressives, liberals, and people on the Left today. After you anchor people in compassion, you can make the intellectual case for why free speech is more compassionate than censorship. This approach is also critical to avoid triggering cognitive dissonance, which is the discomfort individuals feel when they realize they hold contradictory beliefs or are confronted with information that challenges their existing views. If people feel attacked or cornered, they often respond by doubling down on their beliefs to reduce this discomfort, a phenomenon known as "motivated reasoning" or "defensive processing." Avoiding accusatory language, empathetic listening, and framing the conversation around shared values can prevent defensive responses and encourage reflection. “If you must present evidence threatening to the audience’s worldview,” wrote a team of psychologists in 2016, “you may be able to reduce the worldview backfire effect by presenting your content in a worldview-affirming manner.” Readers of Public may recall what I discovered when interviewing people on the streets of Dublin, Ireland, about free speech. Simply slowing people down and forcing them to engage in “slow thinking” rather than “fast thinking” made them more receptive to free speech arguments. Slowing people down allows them to relax, remember the past, and imagine potential futures. And simply asking questions demonstrates respect and triggers a feeling of obligation by most people to offer truthful answers. How you approach the topic will depend on whether you’re talking with a friend or relative or moderating a presidential debate, but it should include affirming shared values. You might say, “There’s been a lot of debate about censorship and misinformation. Most of us, myself included, care a lot about protecting vulnerable people and countering bad information while protecting people’s right to free speech. A regulatory panic could result in a small number of Americans deciding for everyone else what speech, ideas, and even questions are permitted in the name of “safety” or “alignment.” I’ve dedicated my life to defending freedom of speech because it is an essential human right. However, free speech is more than that; it’s nothing less than essential to our ability to understand the world. A giant step for human progress was the realization that, despite what our senses tell us, knowledge is hard to attain. It's a never-ending, arduous, necessarily de-centralized process of testing and retesting, of chipping away at falsity to edge a bit closer to truth. It’s not just about the proverbial “marketplace of ideas”; it’s about allowing information—independent of idea or argument—to flow freely so that we can hope to know the world as it really is. This means seeing value in expression even when it appears to be wrongheaded or useless. This process has been aided by new technologies that have made communication easier. From the printing press, to the telegraph and radio, to phones and the internet: each one has accelerated the development of new knowledge by making it easier to share information. But AI offers even greater liberating potential, empowered by First Amendment principles, including freedom to code, academic freedom, and freedom of inquiry. We are on the threshold of a revolution in the creation and discovery of knowledge. AI’s potential is humbling; indeed, even frightening. But as the history of the printing press shows, attempts to put the genie back in the bottle will fail. Despite the profound disruption the printing press caused in Europe in the short term, the long-term contribution to art, science, and again, knowledge was without equal. Yes, we may have some fears about the proliferation of AI. But what those of us who care about civil liberties fear more is a government monopoly on advanced AI. Or, more likely, regulatory capture and a government-empowered oligopoly that privileges a handful of existing players. The end result of pushing too hard on AI regulation will be the concentration of AI influence in an even smaller number of hands. Far from reining in the government’s misuse of AI to censor, we will have created the framework not only to censor but also to dominate and distort the production of knowledge itself. “But why not just let OpenAI or a handful of existing AI engines dominate the space?” you may ask. Trust in expertise and in higher education—another important developer of knowledge—has plummeted in recent years, due largely to self-inflicted wounds borne of the ideological biases shared by much of the expert class. That same bias is often found baked into existing AI, and without competing AI models we may create a massive body of purported official facts that we can’t actually trust. We’ve seen on campus that attempts to regulate hate speech have led to absurd results like punishing people for simply reading about controversial topics like racism; similarly, AI programs flag or refuse to answer questions about prohibited topics. And, of course, the potential end result of America tying the hands of the greatest programmers in the world would be to lose our advantage to our most determined foreign adversaries. But with decentralized development and use of AI, we have a better chance of defeating our staunchest rivals or even Skynet or Big Brother. Epstein's own pilot admitted that Trump did fly from West Palm Beach to Newark New Jersey, on January 5, 1997, and it wasn't even on the Lolita Express that was the Epstein Island's main shuttle jet. Epstein's own pilot admitted that Trump did fly from West Palm Beach to Newark New Jersey, on January 5, 1997, and it wasn't even on the Lolita Express that was the Epstein Island's main shuttle jet. It was on a completely other aircraft. Finally another huge revelation is the prosecutor in the Epstein case who admitted that out of every single person, politician, and celebrity he asked for help to prosecute Epstein, Trump was the ONLY ONE who helped him prosecute Epstein to make sure he made it behind bars and cooperated and gave him as much time as he needed. All the victims of Epstein and others also all supported Trump throughout the case and his presidency and many have stated that Trump has never done anything to them and that they have never seen him on the Island. Do you really believe if Trump was guilty in anyway, all his dirty laundry wouldn't have been aired out in 2016, or the 2 previous elections with Biden and Kamala? Give me a break. They'd be watering at the mouth the first chance they'd get to drop the news. There's nothing there folks. Stop buying everything at the surface level. This operation has never ended. Sometimes you need to force or push your opposition to make a move or expose themselves. Remember, there are layers, optics, and timing to everything you see happening. Don't buy everything at the surface level. Think deeper. Lastly, I am strictly for the people, the children, the country, and the truth. It doesn't matter who you are, what side your own, or your beliefs. As long as your for the same things, your good in my book. And if Donald Trump was involved in a nefarious way, then he can go down too. But one thing I will tell you is that many would have never supported him if he was ever guilty in the first place. The man can not be bought and is not compromised. He genuinely cares about people and his country. Think bigger people. The show must go on. There are no coincidences.
