I thought that minigame in Like a Dragon was based on Crazy Taxi but maybe it was this.

This game was insanely fun to play, my “local” fun center had it in the summer of ‘98 and it was a blast. Shame it never got a home port!

There was a PS1 version, but I think it only came out in Europe!
