Is this a game you’re making?

This is a simulation engine currently being developed in C++. The goal is to build an open source simulation engine for the racing community. Currently, there is no release date or timeline.

I’m interested in this project. I’m currently working on car and track models in UE5, and I have extensive experience creating mods for Assetto Corsa. I’m also working on vehicle physics, aiming to make them as realistic as possible.

Nascar sponsors looking at this red in the face upset lol. This in comparison would be a mod in football that would show color from helmets clashing between offense and defensive line players. Plus helmets getting popped off the head of the players which we know the NFL says no

This is sweet!! And actually pretty realistic especially at Daytona with the constant high speeds cars really do get really bad damage

Damn this is just like Just Daytonas body damage. This will be so cool once released. Especially if it had an arcadey mode a la the EA games with quick repair and caution replays

are there plans to do different disciplines of racing? like dirt oval etc
