and ran at 60 fps on hardware that is worse than $99 eBay chinese android phones

Arkham Knight was way ahead of it's time

Back when game developers knew optimization.

Ray Tracing isn't the enemy it's the developers thinking that because it uses Ray Tracing that it's automatically good. When used right and with attention to detail and game play it is a game changer. Blame the DEVS for the slop! Cyber Punk looks and plays like a dream!

The Division 2 looked like this back in 2019. I wish more developers would ditch ray-traced reflections and just have good SSR implementation.

No this is what games looked like when developers actually cared

Arkham is incredible.

Arkham Knight would win game of the year today with no changes whatsoever to it.

Yeah don't bother asking...

and this is how it looks when ray tracing exists

Games looked like this when white fellas with sauce were at the helm.

You will play generic UnrealEngine games and you will like it.

Games in general looked better back then because people were hired on merit, not some stupid DEI initiative.

Origins and the Arkham trilogy are excellent games, with impressive graphics and far ahead of their time

Arkham knight is a fcking awesome game

I miss when developers actually placed their lighting sources

And this is what games look like now with raytracing:

I don’t know when this came out, but it was before DEI for sure.

Is that not ray tracing?

The wildest thing is, this was going on 11 years ago

Why o why have we never gotten a Superman game?

Raytracing is a cancer thats only used to pump up GPU sales and inflate the "sales proposition" of a game. No one cares about hyper realism lighting, we just want them running at a stable 60fps(120 preferred) with no drops and crashes.

and this 😎🔥

The dykes fucked it all up

Now imagine this with Ray Tracing….

They looked like this because men were making them, for other men

Ray-Tracing is the biggest scam in gaming history. All it does is drastically worsen game performance in exchange for a small graphical improvement.

Games looked like this when studios made their own game engines instead of using unity.

RT doesn't matter that much. Curated lighting is still better MOST of the time.

I rather have next gen physics than rtx lighting.
