As the immediate past Governor of Delta State, I sincerely commend Governor Oborevwori for the peace and stability he has sustained in the state, as well as the remarkable work he continues to do across Delta North and Delta State as a whole. He has continued to make me very proud. This landmark project will greatly ease traffic congestion at the Uromi Junction, enhance road safety, improve connectivity, and boost economic activities in the area and beyond. Phases One and Two, covering the Sagamu–Iperu axis, were earlier completed and opened to traffic. Phase Three covers the Ode Remo to Sapade stretch and involves full rehabilitation and dualisation of the corridor, including the removal of the old pavement, laying of new asphalt on both carriageways, and the construction of a 200-metre link connecting the road to the Ibadan Expressway, bringing the total length to 5.5 kilometres.
