Wake up world and end the charade. To have peace Gazans must merely stop attacking Israel, return the hostages and Hamas must surrender. Hamas' raison d'etre is to attack Israel and Jews everywhere. I've been to Gaza. It was doing well prior to Hamas&also not blockaded;there's a border with Egypt,the sea & before 2nd intifada there was an airport.Gazans travel to Europe & Asia.Consider Gazans even reportedly brought back Covid from China.Gaza fishermen have more than doubled their annual catch in the last 15 years. In addition, the number of registered fishing boats has also more than doubled. Under Oslo II & Disengagement Agreements,Israel has right to patrol Gaza’s coastal waters & air space to interdict weapons deliveries that are expressly prohibited under the Agreements.Any water and electricity reliance on Israel is self-imposed. Israel has offered desalination and watergen technology and, as to electricity, whether it’s solar or generators, they are available in Gaza. Moreover, the capacity to control does not legally constitute a blockade or occupation. Consider, does the US occupy or blockade Canada because it has the capacity to do so.
