Communism vs. Capitalism. Great to see China do so well. India has a long way to go.

In 2028: China $23.61 trillion India $5.94 trillion Projected by IMF

@RnaudBertrand Imo, India should focus on developing tighter relations with China instead of letting itself be subjugated to the US. India and China have enough civilizational experience to overcome their differences.

@BrownBartosz Indian citizens on the eve of 1988

@RnaudBertrand Of course you India can’t catch up: 95% of the people are Bollywood brainwashed zombies, the rest are call center scammers or Israel supporters on social media.

I am interested to know what happened exactly in 1988? All upwards from there. Can anyone explain?

@NNewtime Are the Chinese numbers accurate tho Winnie? I definitely buy the general trend but they appear to have had zero dips at all in the past ~30 years

For a country with a weak economic base to open its doors to Western onslaught but not to overwhelm its political system... Deng was right not to compromise with the Tiananmen crowd.

This chart needs to have a semi log vertical scale. That way you’ll be able to see the ratio of the GDP of the two nations more clearly over different periods. It makes a point currently but it’s not very helpful

What happened in India in 1966 that knocked them off.
