Gemini 3 is indeed impressive. In my limited testing with it, it feels like it is able to take on larger, complex prompts with ease and low failure rate. I think one of the biggest strengths that Gemini 3 has is its ability to generate coherent looking 3D voxel...

dude this looks EXCELLENT! any way you can provide a prompt or very short guide on how you built this? Would love to start a side project

Profilbild von Danny Limanseta
Danny Limansetavor 10 Monaten

Thanks Alex! My starting prompt is this: Create a heroes of night and magic game in threeJS in voxel style. Before creating it, write up a Game Design Document first. Basically it uses the GDD MD file it creates as a scaffolding on what to build next.

@enesdotid @AlexFinn I used cursor for this

@AlexFinn Thank you 🙏🏼 Is it one-shot output and is it show how many tokens it burned?

Profilbild von Danny Limanseta

@enesdotid @AlexFinn I think it took about 20+ prompts, not sure how much tokens were used tho

Insane speedrun, Danny! Zero to playable HoMM overworld in <2h with Gemini 3 is next-level. Mind blown! 😍😱 Please look at my game that was coded via Gemini:

Your opinion really means a lot to me and made me so happy. If you can, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this website, too. The one I built with Melis (@miilesus) using Vibe Coding in Gemini. 😍🫶

@miilesus Oh wow this is made with Gemini 3 too? It’s crazy good

Profilbild von Mehdi Sharifi

Yeah, yeah! I make it with just one prompt. Here you are, dude. Hope you enjoy it. 😍 @miilesus, help me. > Create a bold and artistic portfolio website design in Neo-Brutalism style. High contrast black and white color palette with neon lime green accents. Massive, screen-filling typography, raw grid lines, and sharp edges. Retro computer aesthetic elements blended with a modern layout. Marquee scrolling text effects are visible. Brutalist web design, raw, edgy, and impactful.

@miilesus Thanks for sharing the prompt! I’m gonna try making some web design mockups with Gemini 3 to see how it performs

Yeah I had a very similar experience. Excellent fidelity on graphics, models, placement etc - even within just a few iterations, getting something that looks pretty solid (lots more work needed on top)

Gemini 3 seems to handle complex, structured outputs like 3D voxel or SVG art with a consistency that really sets it apart from earlier models.

The speed here is what stands out. Two hours from concept to prototype is remarkable.. but what's more interesting is that you spent zero time on asset creation. This is the shift people are missing. The bottleneck in game prototyping has always been art production, even for simple concepts. If Gemini 3 can generate coherent visual assets on the fly, it fundamentally changes the iteration loop. You can test game mechanics without the upfront investment in visual design. The question is whether this holds up at scale. Does the coherence break down when you need variations, or can it maintain a consistent visual language across multiple assets?

Profilbild von Danny Limanseta

Yeah it is, basically the GDD doc becomes the prompt for it to start building the game. I used cursor for this. Though I heard that Gemini 3 is even better in Anti gravity, so I might check it out!

the coherent voxel/svg generation is the step that changes the game. when outputs are structurally valid AND aesthetically decent, the creative possibilities expand in a way that benchmarks can't measure

GEMINI 3 LAUNCH IS HERE I got a SNEAK PEEK at Gemini 3 with Logan Kilpatrick (Google Deepmind), and it might be the most POWERFUL vibe-coding tool on the planet. A little breakdown: 1. Anyone can build 3D and casual games now You can vibecode full, playable 3D video games generated in minutes. Actual games with physics, characters, controls, and loops you can remix instantly. Pure insanity. I can see founders and brands spinning up games on the fly to ride trends and drive growth. 2. Intelligent apps are becoming the default We built apps where reasoning, memory, and multi-step planning were baked in from the start. Once you’re building apps with ACTUAL intelligence baked in, there’s a whole wave of new opportunities that weren’t possible before. 3. Gemini acts like a creative partner You describe the idea, Gemini fills in the gaps, challenges decisions, proposes alternatives, and iterates in real time. 4. Vibe coding hits a new level Gemini 3 can generate assets, code, game logic, UI, and narrative in one flow. Tools like Claude and Cursor feel fast. This feels like the next layer, the one where a single builder can compete with full teams. Logan Kilpatrick and I pushed Google Gemini 3 hard, and the outputs were solid. A few times we had to give it a few extra prompts but it took feedback really well. I think 1 year ago, a lot of people discounted Google in the AI arms race. Can you discount them anymore? Doubt it. After this, it feels like they at best leading, at worst leading. What do you think of Google's AI efforts/Gemini 3 My biggest takeaway was how it just felt like Gemini 3 had a little more vibe coding horsepower than anything I’ve used.
