Gemini 4 Argon combined three open-source datasets to build an interactive 3D visualization of human anatomy. Toggle different layers in motion, isolate muscles, or zoom inside a beating heart.

Could you provide a link to this interactive tool? Would love to try it out. I built something similar, presumably with some of the same open source anatomy datasets.

Ex-doctor here. Anatomy was never hard because of the layers, it was the relations and variants. Pair this with a voice examiner that grills you and med students will live in it. We built a voice OSCE sim at a hackathon, the grilling is what sticks

A 3D model where you can zoom inside a beating heart would've made my old biology class a whole lot more fun.... curious how doctors and med students end up using this one.

google deepmind confirmed to have at least 3 employees who have seen a naked female

Med school just got way more fun!

Argon is mid. When will we get Carbon

My high school biology class had one plastic skeleton named Gary. The next generation gets to fly through a beating heart.

nice demo. how's argon on a 5 year old codebase tho?

Zooming inside a beating heart in 3D is unreal. My biology class peaked at a frog and a formaldehyde smell I will never forget. Incredible upgrade 🫀

i thought it was animations for gemini 4 gaming SIGH

zooming inside a beating heart is the kind of thing my sister would've loved in med school. the anatomy atlases she studied never showed how the layers actually move together

zoom inside a beating heart is the demo i'd watch twice

Zooming inside a beating heart beats any textbook drawing from biology class. Students who learn by seeing will get so much out of this. Warm greetings from the Netherlands, Pete

Did the model merge the three datasets on its own, or did someone line up the anatomy labels before it built the viewer?

Google Body Browser?

Med students would trade a kidney for this the week before their anatomy practical.

Awesome Nice replacement for heavy anatomy textbooks 😂

which three datasets? medical imaging is usually locked down pretty tight

impressive what was the prompt?

this is lowkey so cool

Nice!

Bad news for the plastic skeleton in every school science lab. Decades of service, replaced by a prompt.

You can zoom inside a beating heart and explore how it works. Imagine learning biology with tools like this instead of just staring at textbook diagrams.

google body browser from 2010 finally got an update.

and what's the magic formula then?

zooming inside a beating heart is wild. bio class wouldve gone way better with this

cool. how many weekly limits did the beating heart cost

curious which three datasets it stitched together. getting open anatomy meshes that were never built to line up is usually the hard part, not the rendering

Watching it go from a walking skeleton to the nerves to floating inside a blood vessel with the blood cells drifting past is pretty wild. Google's own fine print says the clip was shortened, but even half of that would beat the textbook diagrams I studied from.

Zooming inside a beating heart used to need a medical degree and a very patient patient 🤔

Surely we can access this!

Zooming inside a beating heart is so cool , would love to see this paired with EKG rhythms

that anatomy layer toggle is super smooth
