And by focusing on and eliminating missiles and drones from the southern coast of Iran, it makes transiting the Persian Gulf safer for shipping. Add to that the US Navy escorting tankers along with the US government supplying insurance for the tankers and hopefully trade through the Persian Gulf will return to normal soon. The air campaign against Iran is only intensifying, so the danger from drones and missiles will be diminishing as well.

@Schizointel @CENTCOM Iran is just pacing itself. Iran's path to victory requires sustaining pressure and keeping Hormuz closed for months. Firing 300 missiles per day will not get them there. They are likely need to drop to 10-20 missiles per day and lean heavely on drones.

The U.S. "permanently disabled" three Iranian oil tankers in the Persian Gulf on Saturday after Iran's Revolutionary Guard fired ballistic missiles at a U.S. aircraft carrier and guided-missile destroyer, according to U.S. Central Command. Tragically, 46 people lost their lives on this day with 74 tornadoes confirmed in a single day. Here is the F5 from southwest of Moore. This was just prior to the research indicating overpasses are not a viable shelter from a tornado, as the flow can accelerate through the gap.
