Nowhere to Hide is the clearest example of a crutch perk on the killer side. Survivors have run to yellow, killers have point and click aura adventure. Stealth is such an important intangible part of this game. Nowhere to hide existing in a trial removes that and forces everyone to hold W forever. Holding W is boring, in my opinion! I think this perk's range should be reduced, and it should stop working when a killer movement ability is used.

Blood Favor is one of the worst designed killer perks, with how it forces survivors to play in one specific way and can kill you instantly depending on the map and where it hits you. Randomness, restricting chase mindgames, making the chase of already strong killers downright stupid... it's a wonder this perk hasn't been targeted yet. The only silver lining is that most good killer players are honorable to pretend like it doesn't exist!

Vigil - because cutting the strongest exhaustion cooldowns in half isn't enough, we also need to have it delete all killer status effect perks and add ons, and functionally act as 4 perks when applied to teammates! oh and it deletes Freddy from the game!

Slugging is still extremely meta if you don't play an S tier killer. This will continue to be the case unless proper adjustments are made to hook based survivor perks, or base game systems like 70 second hook stages.

Slugging will continue to be necessary (against good survivors) in the current state of the game: I am very open to debate on this, but that relatable killer feeling of playing against perks, not players, it leads to a meta like this. Please watch the entire video before you comment. shoulder the burden, fast track, resurgence, babysitter, deli dh ds, healing builds, sabo (less important), in combination with basekit handholding like 70 second hook stages and 15 second endurance mean that A tier and below killers are now so heavily punished for hooking that coulrophobia slugging is necessary against any good team running the above perks.

Judgment is almost a perfect killer on the PTB. I just played her for 4 hours straight and I NEVER play PTBs. That said, we cannot have prayer kneeler basekit. It would destroy everything unique and fun about the killer. They should be very careful changing anything about this killer in the name of skill floor or controller access. The only things worth potentially changing are the beam damage delay and maybe the width of the non zealous beam

Coulrophobia was nerfed as a response to high mmr killers refusing to engage in the hooking gameplay loop. I have done this often on killer, and fully acknowledged that it shouldn't be encouraged as a play style. If you can't see how full hard slugging is bad for the game's health, you have us vs them brainrot. But now that slugging perks are being nerfed, we are left in a position where we have to ask - are they going to do anything about the circumstances that are leading killers to slug?

Iridescent Seal is a corny add on that punishes survivors simply for playing the game normally, similarly to broken survivor perks like Shoulder the Burden or Conviction. This effect is pretty outdated and could be a lot more fun for both sides.

Conviction is not an easy perk to use correctly. But when it's used by a good player in the right situation, it is game ending for the killer. The problem with this design is that Conviction is totally silent until it activates, with no signs or plans that the killer can take to prepare for it. When it works, it just happens and you lose, that's it.

Five Moves Ahead is probably the most obvious manifestation of survivor perk power creep we have, dethroning Windows of Opportunity while screwing over ranged killers on a 30 second cooldown. The effect is annoying but ultimately not broken, but power creep is an insidious killer and I think we should avoid making new perks that directly overwrite old ones.
