Slugging will continue to be necessary (against good survivors) in the current state of the game: I am very open to debate on this, but that relatable killer feeling of playing against perks, not players, it leads to a meta like this. Please watch the entire video before you... show more

Slugging is still extremely meta if you don't play an S tier killer. This will continue to be the case unless proper adjustments are made to hook based survivor perks, or base game systems like 70 second hook stages.

Coulrophobia was nerfed as a response to high mmr killers refusing to engage in the hooking gameplay loop. I have done this often on killer, and fully acknowledged that it shouldn't be encouraged as a play style. If you can't see how full hard slugging is bad for the game's health, you have us vs them brainrot. But now that slugging perks are being nerfed, we are left in a position where we have to ask - are they going to do anything about the circumstances that are leading killers to slug?

The strongest anti-tunneling perk is not DS, not even shoulder the burden. It's Babysitter. Nothing forces a killer to stop tunneling like a survivor running faster than him with no scratch marks. You leave the hook for a nanosecond and this perk ends your entire game against a good team. It should really be either stealth or speed, not both.

Slugging continues to be the optimal strategy at high levels of play. This shouldn't be encouraged, but it's necessary to bring attention to the state of survivor perks.

Iridescent Seal is a corny add on that punishes survivors simply for playing the game normally, similarly to broken survivor perks like Shoulder the Burden or Conviction. This effect is pretty outdated and could be a lot more fun for both sides.

Blood Favor is one of the worst designed killer perks, with how it forces survivors to play in one specific way and can kill you instantly depending on the map and where it hits you. Randomness, restricting chase mindgames, making the chase of already strong killers downright stupid... it's a wonder this perk hasn't been targeted yet. The only silver lining is that most good killer players are honorable to pretend like it doesn't exist!

"Why does BHVR make massive basekit buffs to survivor like 70 second hook stages?" My take on the matter, something not everyone will want to hear

#WATCH | PM Narendra Modi says, "...I would like to express my pain once again, from the Red Fort today. As a society, we will have to think seriously about the atrocities against women that are happening - there is outrage against this in the country. I can feel this outrage. The country, society, State Governments will have to take this seriously. Speedy investigation of crimes against women, those executing these monstrous deeds be awarded strict punishment at the earliest - this is important to instil confidence in society. I would also like to say that when rapes and incidents of atrocities on women occur, it is widely discussed. But when a person of such monstrous tendency is punished, it is not seen in news, but restricted to a corner. It is the need of the hour, that extensive discussion on those receiving punishment be held so that those committing this sin understand that this leads to hanging. I think it is very important to instil this fear." (Video source: PM Modi/YouTube)

My final thoughts on the Trickster gameplay update ("rework") - Too similar to the old Trickster to increase his popularity outside of people buying MiNA - 4.4 feels legitimately awful against veteran survivors with good pathing - 6 blades to injure feels good. The snappy feeling of pulling up blades to only fire 2 or 3 feels really good and precise. I might be playing a lot more Trickster, but I highly doubt the average killer player will. It feels like they have placed artificial restraints on the strength of an already weak killer.

Gen slowdown is the standard that DBD is built around, and should always be the default killer build. It's the most skillful way to play killer, and builds which have 3+ non gen slowdown perks tend to be some of the most boring to face. Aura reading and chase perks are like temporary steroids for missing game sense and chase skills, creating uninteractive and boring situations when stacked (endfury, dissolution, nowhere to hide, etc)

Thanasis Antetokounmpo believes the Heat will be VERY good this season: “My prediction for the Heat is that they’re going to be a very good team. I know people don’t have them being a really good team, but I have them being a really good team. Because of the way they play, and the players they have. If you guys want to bet against them, be my guest. Bet against them. I will not.” (Via Thanalysis Show) 🔥

Kind of insane that the first is like 100% harmless against strong survivors but can just do this against more... "unaware" players I guess his stats show a lot more of these games than the opposite, and that's why they are nerfing him

Shoulder The Burden is still by far the biggest problem in DBD specifically at high mmr. I see this perk at least once every 4 or 5 games, and it is game warping every time even if it's not used perfectly. This perk is so stupid in the hands of coordinated, strong teams that old school Bubba facecamping is now an optimal strategy to win tough matches against good players. Total insanity.

I held a meeting with our negotiating team. It is important that we are in communication with the American side virtually 24/7. At the moment, the partners’ priority and all attention are focused on the situation around Iran, and because of this the meeting that had been planned for this week is being postponed at the proposal of the American side. However, Ukraine is ready for a meeting at any moment, in a format that can help and that will be realistic in terms of ending the war. The team reported on the plans of the Russian side, as far as it is known to us, primarily thanks to our intelligence services. I instructed the team to once again communicate with the American negotiators in order, first, to reiterate our readiness for strategic joint work for security and, in particular, protection against strike drones, and second, to once again confirm our readiness to work substantively toward ending Russia’s war against Ukraine. We see that the Russians are now trying to manipulate the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf region in favor of their aggression, and also to effectively turn the Iranian regime’s strikes against its neighbors and American bases into a second front of Russia’s war against Ukraine and, more broadly, against the entire West. This must not be allowed. Evil must not be given opportunities for coordination, but the protection of life must be clearly coordinated. This is exactly what we are working for. Thank you to everyone who helps!

Raymond Felton on Stephen A. Smith comments about the Lakers having too many white guys on their team: “Let’s be honest, this is nothing against white basketball players this nothing against that, like I have nothing against that I have a lot of good white friends. But when we step on the court as basketball players AAU and we looked over there and you saw that, I’m about to barbecue you, I’m about to kill you. But on the flip side of it though you got out there and mess around they will kick you’re a**.” (Via To The Baha)

Are you anti-Muslim? ELON MUSK: “If people are coming to a country with antithetical views… I am against that. I'm against rape and murder. I am against the imposition of rules and laws that are contrary to what we've come to accept in the West. It’s a crying shame that traditional media like YOU don’t recognize this!” Elon is the best!

☝️ “You said that NATO is claiming that the missile shield in Europe is directed against Iran, not Russia. Thank you for making me laugh; I will go home in a good mood. The radars and interceptor missiles that are deployed in Europe block the territory of Russia up to the Urals and effectively neutralize part of our land-based nuclear forces; that is clear to any specialist. And just say, "You guys, don't be afraid. We are doing this, but we will not use it against you. We are good, look into our honest eyes." But that is not how it works” - President Putin

Nowhere to Hide is the clearest example of a crutch perk on the killer side. Survivors have run to yellow, killers have point and click aura adventure. Stealth is such an important intangible part of this game. Nowhere to hide existing in a trial removes that and forces everyone to hold W forever. Holding W is boring, in my opinion! I think this perk's range should be reduced, and it should stop working when a killer movement ability is used.

Elon Musk on Grok: “I think an AI that is sort of SpaceX’s baby will be a very good AI. I think SpaceX is a collection of some of the very best humans on Earth, both in capability and morality and goodness, and I think we want to have an AI that is born of that capability and that morality and that goodness. I think that’s very, very important. So I’d like to encourage people to help out, actually, with the AI hardware on the ground and the AI software and, of course, with the AI satellites. Solar is going to be a very important part of that. The TerraFab will be a very important part of that, but we must also succeed on the software front, and we’re going to be training Grok on the sum total of all SpaceX information. So in a way, it will be trained on you. You will effectively be the parents of the AI. It will inherit your thoughts and ideas and beliefs, and I think that’s a good thing. So, yeah, we’ve got to win here on the AI hardware and the AI software. That maybe is the most important message. I think that is actually the most important message I wanted to convey today is that we must win on AI because the future is overwhelmingly AI and robots. So we won’t ultimately be able to control the AI. It’ll be too smart for that. But just like if you have a child that is a super genius child, you can still instill in that child the values and beliefs that you think are good and right. And so that’s why it’s incredibly important that we succeed with Grok. So, yeah, well, Grok 4.5 you’ve tried probably. We’ve got 4.6 coming out in about a week. And then 4.7 should be really pretty special. So I’d like to encourage everyone at SpaceX to use AI and to make it better.”
