Genesis AI’s Eno is a general-purpose humanoid robot with a foldable body and dexterous hands. It can adjust its height for different tasks and fold down for easy storage. Powered by Gene robotic brain, it can understand, plan, and perform tasks autonomously.

If you adjust the configuration and modify it with a seat cushion, is there a reason this is not a mobile base right now for mobility challenged, compromised aging, or people wheelchair bound? 2.5 billion in the world. It's compact, turns in a tight area, raises and lowers for access at bed-table-bar-cabinet height. It offers sit to stand abilities which many have issues with, it could easily get a person off the floor with falls for independent living. It could reach high for cleaning, curtains, and grab things for you to carry. Easy for transfers. These are the type of robotics that extend life by allowing independent living for many for 10 years or more. It would be smart to also have all terrain similar robotics to allow one to do outdoor work or travel anywhere. Medically these should be in hospitals or clinics to allow patient transport and transfer.

Note how you never, ever see it complete a task : that's because it can't.

This might be one of the most practical humanoid designs I’ve seen😀

Can it climb stairs. Am I going to find my cat with track marks over it?

This is where humanoid robotics gets really interesting 🤖 A robot that can adapt its physical form + understand, plan, and execute tasks autonomously feels like a major step toward truly general-purpose robots. The combination of dexterous hardware + a robotic brain is the part to watch.

The foldable body is actually the more interesting part than the humanoid label. If one robot can change its working height, reach different surfaces, and then collapse into a smaller footprint, embodiment starts becoming part of the deployment strategy not just the mechanics. The question is whether that adaptability improves real utilization enough to justify the added complexity.

Any word on runtime? Foldable body usually means smaller battery.

It is very important to first create robots to care for the elderly and sick, and police officers to patrol the streets

A nice design feature is that they can fold down to about the size of a robot vacuum cleaner.

Why is it so slow? Is it lazy?

It's a really aesthetic (compact) design, but it's limited to not going anywhere where there are stairs
