Not sure about this. What other skin would it not be able to penetrate? The ones it can would be swarmed... They would probably adapt and go for softer tissue like nostrils, inside the ears, near eyes, etc. I don't think that would end well if it became a thing in the wild.

I‘ve been trying multiple times to post this video to YouTube, but YouTube censors the entire video by restricting its distribution if I use the words "genetically modified" or "GM mozzies" in the title. Apparently questioning the release of genetically modified mosquitoes into the natural environment is not allowed on YouTube.
