BANNON: Lutnick says H-1Bs have collapsed bc of the new fees and it’s not a problem anymore. JENKS That’s absolutely not true. The H-1B cap is full for this year and 2027. The foreign student to OPT to H-1B pipeline is alive and well, and the $100K fee doesn’t even apply to those workers. Just ask any American tech worker. They’ll tell you exactly what the problems are with H-1B.

Foreign students and H-1B spouses sweating $1,800 premium processing fees and downloading case trackers just to get their OPT/H4/GC EADs so Americans can be displaced quicker. The entire cottage industry of EAD trackers, coupon codes and body-shop compliance apps only exists because Congress keeps the pipeline wide open. Protect the American worker - End it all.

A Latina woman is claiming to be an American Descendant of Slaves ( that’s why that term is still problematic because people can still co-opt it) and she has a real issue with the term FBA (because she can NOT co-opt THAT). She goes on to claim all the Caribbeans that helped Foundational Black Americans “advance”- and she stated that Maya Angelou was Caribbean ??????

Additionally, by requiring a minimum salary of $200,000, employers will have an incentive to be very sure that the people they are bringing in from abroad have the credentials they say they have.
