George Kamel reveals he would NOT take a $1,000,000,000 loan at 0% interest… “It’s not because I’m trying to be the ‘anti-debt guy’ it’s because I live by a set of values and principles, and I have found that living debt-free is simply a better life for me.

The fact that he would not take it, tells me he doesn't understand how to leverage money.

This is an indictment on his entire thought process and everything else he says should be heavily discounted.

He's known as Ramsey's most devoted disciples and of course will say this because Dave says this. It's on brand and they do a great job of staying on brand. What do you expect?

This incredibly simple hypothetical is too complicated for George.

The 99.9% that would take this deal won’t get invited on the podcast it’s only the ones who say stupid shit that get the click bait jester appearances that are sprinkled in amongst the actual smart guests like Chris Camilo 😂

This is one of the reasons I don’t like him or Ramsey. They’re too stuck on a specific demographic of people that don’t know how to manage money that they give bad advice

I think Ramseys advice about debt is good for some people, make them afraid of it because they are irresponsible and will blow their personal balance sheet up, but the advice is idiotic for anyone responsible with any financial literacy.

All he had to do was leave it at his first quote. Living debt free is a better life for him. Everything after that actually made him sound dumb.

Your values matter, but $1B at 0% is free leverage for philanthropy. Where do you draw the line between principle and impact?

Retarded to the core. If you put that even in a simple index fund at 11% in 10yrs you tripled it and return the 1 bill and keep 2. 🤣.

Dude take the 40 million and just donate it to your church or something. Isn’t that the morally responsible thing to do if you’re presented with a risk free way to improve the lives of people and further the causes you care about?
