Khal Drogo was an absolute force of nature. If he had lived longer, there’s a strong case that he would’ve been remembered as one of the greatest warriors in Game of Thrones. One year ago, I was about to go to sleep but was looking at my phone when I started seeing photos of Anas Al Sharif. Like so many millions of people, I had been watching him report from Gaza. Every time I saw his posts, I felt relief that he was still alive and still fighting to share with the world the horrors of the terrorist state’s ge@@@@ide. We had seen so many journalists hunted and murdered so many brave young men and women, and I prayed often that he would not be one of them. I had seen the videos and photos of the joy in his face when he reunited with his small children, I remember him and his fellow journalist who had since been killed celebrating the first “cease-fire” and I wanted to believe that there would be more to celebrate for him and journalists like him. Seeing the photos, I knew what they meant. When I saw that Anas had been killed, I burst into tears. I think of his children often. I think of his courage and I think of so many people who call themselves “journalists” who are just scribes for empire and megalomaniacs. He entrusted us with his beloved homeland, what have we done?

This Georgia Bulldogs batter, Tre Phelps, was ejected after he hit a go ahead home run against Liberty in the NCAA Regional Final game in Athens. Phelps homered and has he starts to run the bases, the home plate umpire felt that he was taunting the Liberty dugout and he continued to celebrate all the way around the bases. You can see some Liberty players ask him “what are you doing?” I guess the umpire had seen enough. Georgia Head Coach Wes Johnson was also thrown out for arguing Phelps’ ejection. Many people said he was waving to his family and said it didn’t matter, that he should be allowed to celebrate and that you can’t eject a player for that. Others said they were glad he was ejected and that there is no place in the game for this type of behavior- taunting the other team. If I was his coach I would have been livid at him for acting that way. Respect the game, respect the players and act like you have been there and just play the game. Quit the theatrics. What do you think? Do you think the umpire was justified in ejecting him or do you think he had a right to celebrate?

Today would have been my nephew Matthew Perna's 42nd Birthday. If January 6, had never occurred, he would probably be married with a baby or 2. His Dad would still be alive, instead of deteriorating and dying a brokenhearted man, 2 years after Matthew. Matthew loved so many things in his life, one was music. His Dad was a classical pianist and taught him to play. (My Dad was also a pianist, who taught Matthew's Dad and the rest of our family.) He had not played piano for several years, but when he decided to stay near his Dad after his Mom died unexpectedly, he bought a used piano. This is a short video shows him revisiting a classical piece of music that he hadn't played since he was a child. He was determined to get back to playing, so he pulled out the old music books that he was taught from, and started again. After his arrest, he never touched those keys again.💔😢

I just watched this video of a Nigerian sharing his review of a part in Femi Otedola’s book that he read. I love it as real Nigerians who have read the book are giving real reviews. After Femi Otedola published the book, he recruited influencers to create a fake and fictitious reality of the book to choke it down the throats of Nigerians. But as ordinary Nigerians bought and read it, they realized the book is a mere wealth fiction. As I had said, while we, as “ordinary Nigerians,” can pick a thing or two from the lives and experiences of personalities like Femi Otedola and Dangote, we can’t practically model our lives after them. Why? Our reality is entirely separate and contrasting to theirs. If you, as an ordinary Nigerian, need motivation, a drive, a source of wise mentorship, look for successful people who built from the standpoint of your reality - the people who had faced struggles typical or equal to yours but scaled through. But if you spend your penny to afford Femi’s book with a strong belief that it will give you real life guard to elevation, you would be confused and frustrated from the first line of chapter one. Your realities do not align. Hope this helps.✍️

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced SPOILER alert. Was this post credit scene in the OG game? From the looks of it and how Edward's daughter is shown with her own personality, I feel like we are bound to get a game on her and see her part of the story through. I hope they bring her story in the form of video games. And there are so many good characters coming out of this game that a reuse of these characters in her own game would do wonders for the game. This would also link up AC3 and Black flag really well!

Lee: It is a gross abuse of our ability to conduct oversight. They are essentially spying on us as we are looking through and trying to do any sort of investigation and bring about transparency regarding these Epstein files. I think that is really problematic for that reason — that they are spying on members of Congress who are doing their job. Also, why should we have to do this at the end of the day? These files shouldn’t have been redacted in that way in the first place. They’ve redacted the names of people who perpetrated heinous crimes. These are some of the most powerful people — potentially — but we don’t know because they still won’t release the names. Yet they unredacted the names and images of survivors. None of this would have been a problem if they had done their job in the first place. I do want to remind people that the Epstein Transparency Act is one of the things that compels them to release the files. Also, our subpoena from back in August compels them to release the full, complete, unredacted files — except for the names or identifying information of survivors, which should be coming to our committee. There is no reason why they haven’t yet released the final 3 million or so documents. They’re saying the Epstein Transparency Act is the reason why, but our subpoena does not contain that loophole. So we still expect the rest of the files. We expect that the executive branch will not trample on the legislative branch’s ability to do our job. And I just think it’s funny that Pam Bondi had so much energy today in that hearing, all while she is protecting pedophiles.
