Don’t care if we win games etc, the blatant cheating needs called out !!!!!

Mike Conley, Rudy Gobert, Joe Ingles and the Utah Jazz were up 3-1 on Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets in the 2020 playoffs. But Denver came all the way back to tie the series at 3-3. And then in Game 7... With 30 seconds to go, the score was tied 78-78, when Jokic backs down Gobert for a righty hook that put Denver up 80-78. But somehow the ball found it's way to Conley for this buzzer-beating pull up 3 for the win that rims out. I think Mike would tell you that might have been the low point of his career. There's something fitting about Conley, at 38 years old, out of nowhere, moving back into the starting lineup with his team up 3-1 on Denver. I think an earned shot at redemption.

I have not seen enough about the decision from Mike Vrabel and Tim Kelly to go for 2 down by 8 last night. Here’s why I loved it: 1) NFL teams this season have been successful on 55% of two-point conversion attempts. The odds were in the Titans’ favor. 2) Will Levis was dealing in the 2nd half. 3) Titans still had all three timeouts and the two-minute warning. 4) Miami struggled to move the ball on offense all night. Their three scoring drives went for 12, 7, and 59 yards. 5) If successful on the two-point conversion, a stop on defense and a TD wins the game. If unsuccessful, you can still send it to OT. 6) Titans offense marched down the field, scored the TD to make it a one possession game and essentially told Miami, “we are going for two because we know you cannot stop us right now.” The odds are in your favor. It’s a good mathematical decision. You want to psych out an opposing offense? Give them the ball knowing they need to run the clock out, or you are going to have a chance to WIN the game, not send it to overtime. They saw what your offense just did to their defense. They saw your QB on the sideline screaming and hyping everyone up. Cutting the lead to six put WAY more pressure on the Dolphins offense. You want to hype up your defense? Put them back on the field knowing your offense just did their job. Put them back on the field knowing a stop and a TD wins it. At that point, they aren’t in the mindset of “we need a stop to have a chance to go to OT.” They are thinking, “let’s go out here, get a stop, and give our offense a chance to WIN.” There’s a fundamental difference in playing to WIN and playing NOT to LOSE. This was a decision by a coaching staff that was playing to WIN. Brilliant game by Vrabel and Kelly. Brilliant execution late in the game by the offense and the defense. Completely out-coached one of the best offensive minds in the game. #Titans

Official Statement about the "ENDED" GAME 8 of the $10,000 Ascendance Series tonight. We're looking into the issue that occurred. We understand this effected all 3 players on Team Orchid. - Hambino🏳️‍⚧️ - RamBeau - ROC sirsay And potentially griefed their win in this DAY 1 of the series. The team's winnings which could've been $750 if they won the game, were brought down to $300 as they placed 3rd in the event following another 2 matches. We understand that the game trigged an 'ended match by admin' screen, making it seem as if the game was ended by one of our admins, which is 100% wasn't. We know that for certain. Ivan nor MrFoxy who were the only two admins in the series ended the match. It was not done on accident or on purpose. We will look into this issue with the correct people and make another statement as soon as we get word on the issue. For the time being, we offer to reimburse the roster an additional $200 to round up the prize winnings to $500, as we understand they could have easily won Match 8, and it's not a small amount of money they missed out on. Here's another interesting detail about fishing🎣 We all remember the scene in the novel where Shen Wenlang took Gaotu fishing. Then, in the October 20th live stream, they listed fishing as one of the three things they've done together. At the time, 🌲 explained it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. However, what makes this even more interesting is that they had already brought up fishing earlier, during the live stream with Lele. Right after 🌊 said he would take Lele out to play, he murmured "go fishing," and 🌲 nodded in agreement. So we don't know if this reveals a truly "spur of the moment" trip, or if it was actually a shared plan all along😌 Btw, in real life, 🌊's dad is a big fishing enthusiast 😉

This is why I fell in love with the fans of Red Star Belgrade (Delije). I have never seen or played in a better atmosphere than this one especially when we play at the Maracana stadium. With Delije away games feels like home games and that pressure to always get the first goal early to trigger the fans can be good or bad sometimes if you don't score early. I love every song I love how both old and young people show their love and support for the team. Red Star is like the Real Madrid of the Balkan region with a lot of history and great traditions. Playing in front of this amazing Fans and how they light up the stadium with their enthusiasm is something special. Zvezda Volime te 🔴⚪️

My son’s coach pitch team won their playoff game Saturday. But he barely remembers the game. After the game, we had a potluck at the park. I brought out my Legends summer camp playlist, fired up the speaker, and before long... Every player and sibling was singing and dancing for well over an hour. It was pure joy. Parents laughed. Took photos and videos. Bonded. And on the walk back to the car, my son looked at me and said: “Dad, that party was so much fun.” He didn’t even mention the game. And that stuck with me. As youth coaches, we have limited impact on what happens between the lines. We can teach the game. We can prepare. But we can’t control the outcome. Where we can have the most impact… Is outside the lines. That’s where the magic lives. That’s where the memories are made. So yes—let’s compete. Let’s aim to win. But what if we tried to out-fun everyone instead of just outplay them? What if we made intentional space for kids to be kids? To dance. To sing. To laugh. To play. Because years from now... They won’t remember the batting order. But they will remember that dance off.

Hills I will die on as an elementary school teacher, who just wrapped up my 32nd year teaching! 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to teach, this profession is not for you. 2. Our students are not “ours”. They are their families, and we need to understand the magnitude of the calling, and responsibility we have to meet them where they are, and to help them to get to a place that they never thought possible. 3. As important as the curriculum is (and it IS important), the children in our classroom are what matter most. It’s our JOB to teach the curriculum to SERVE our students, NOT to use our students to push any sort of agenda. 4. Just as we teach our students to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our students better than they were when they first entered into our classroom. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every child. 5. We should not teach our children WHAT to think, but HOW to think, and how to use that knowledge to bless and serve not only themselves, but the world around them. 6. Our words carry little (or NO value), if we do not practice what we preach. 7. If we don’t make learning fun, children will view learning as a chore, and we we will be creating a generation of children who grow up to be young adults who don’t see the joy in learning new things. 8. The child that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Never tell a child they “can’t” do something. God has blessed each of them with far more strengths and talents than we may know, and it’s not our job to tell them what they can’t do, but to help them to realize all the things they CAN do. 10. The legacy you leave as a teacher will never be determined by your student’s test scores, but by the human beings you helped them become throughout their lives.

I was visiting Goa with my wife a couple of years ago. We were in this cosy little resort in South Goa right on Agonda beach, run by a middle aged Goanese couple. We had stayed there for three days and on the 4th day we drove to North Goa, walked into a bar and got drunk and so had to check in at a different hotel for the night. At 11:30 ish, the lady from the resort called us to check if we were okay and that she had waited up to see if we would return. I thanked her and assured her that everything is okay. I don’t think I have or will experience this anywhere else, and I am a fairly well traveled person. India, with all its follies, can sometimes give you the most heartwarming experiences. This was the view from our room at the resort.

A lot of people are starting to think after seeing Shinsuke Nakamura’s Instagram story that AJ Styles is retiring at the Royal Rumble, but I really don’t think that’s the case – If AJ was actually retiring, Shinsuke would never have posted that today at least. It straight up screams retirement, kills all shock value, and WWE would never allow something like that. Why would they want to spoil it – My prediction is AJ wins at the Rumble and retires later at WrestleMania 42. If you’re gonna retire, why not do it on the grandest stage – We’ve also seen reports before suggesting WWE might be planning a proper retirement tour for AJ. If that’s true, retiring at the Rumble doesn’t really make sense. Who knows, maybe he gives us a full year farewell run – Yeah, we know his contract is expiring soon, but contracts can always be renewed. Contact in the desert was the biggest ever this year and so was the sky watch. We witnessed dozens of orbs.
