Its not often Im lost for words, but last night this stopped me in my tracks. Just over 3 years ago my content changed alot when I went sober and I got a lot of stick for my shift in direction. After spending years trying to get back to doing comedy, to suddenly change was terrifying. But, my social media, my characters, my jokes and my content has always been in some way a reflection of my life and my life became a battle for change, I embarked on the most difficult journey of my life, its still a constant struggle, but talking about what drink & drugs were doing to my mental health and my family helped me understand and share what I was going through. Through that process Ive lost friends and family, followers, brand deals, business and I get constant criticism and negative comments when I discuss certain things, it can be triggering and to be honest a bit annoying im sure. But, there is a core group of you that have stuck with me for the comedy and let me talk about mental health, sobriety and the darkness some of us face, and a few of you that are here for the sobriety stuff but put up with my jokes along the way, to all of you thank you…. But.. Every now and then I see a comment, or a message, or at one of my live show’s someone says something like “You saved my life” and it hits me, its worth sharing, its worth the shame, embarrassment and comments, its all been worth it, because every now and then it really helps someone feel like they aren’t alone. And can change. Thank you mate, thank you for telling me that. I needed to hear it. x

sunoo childhood stories with his sister all soo funny🤣 🦊everyone, I also have a bit of a temper when I get angry. Seriously. No, but I’ve matured a lot. Originally.. well, I think those kinds of things happen between all family members, right? Probably? But it’s through those experiences that you actually get closer. If nothing like that ever happened, that would be truly unbelievable 🦊Suddenly, speaking of fighting stories, I just remembered a time I fought with my older sister. I think it was back in elementary school. My sister ate something of mine without asking I don’t remember the details but we ended up getting into a fight🤣 What was really funny was that when I kicked her, she didn’t even budge. She was just like, 'Ha!' But when she kicked me, I completely flew back and fell over. So, while fighting her, I just shouted, 'I surrender!' I lost🤣 🦊i’ve been thinking about my childhood a lot lately. My sister has always been strong Of course she was, she's three years older than me🤣 My sister might feel it's unfair if I only talk about my aide so let me tell another story. When I was a tiny baby I was just born and she was maybe 3 or 4 all the attention shifted to me. She used to really like me, but she got jealous because everyone was focused on me. She’d tell me to go away But here’s the reason she started to dislike me even more: when I was with her I would bite her on the back, pinch her, and scratch her. It was a mess! Also, there’s another story I just remembered. The reason I always had really short hair as a kid was because of my sister. She took a toy train (the kind with wheels) and rolled it all over my head, and my hair got so tangled in the wheels that they couldn't get it out. So my mom always had to cut my hair short🤣 too much TMI

Actor-comedian #PepeHerrera said he is more than willing to collaborate with actress #NadineLustre—weeks after she expressed interest in working with him on a comedy project. Lustre previously told radar and other media that she has long wanted to star alongside Herrera, particularly in a “kanal” style of comedy. Herrera said the two already share connections outside of acting, including their involvement in the same music community and management circle. “Kilala natin iyan. Mga katribo 'yan si Nadine at si Chris, kasi parehas kaming vegan and same community kami,” Herrera said, referring to Lustre's partner, businessman Christophe Bariou. “Actually, tumambay na kami niyan, kasi parehas kami ng music producer na kabanda ko rin, si Isagani of Music Monks," he added. "I believe Nadine right now is focused sa kaniyang pag-finish ng album, and ako rin, with my band. Same music management. So, minsan, nagtatagpo kami doon.” Should the collaboration happen, Herrera said he already has a concept in mind: a project that would blend drama and comedy, while subtly highlighting causes important to both of them without being "preachy." Lustre previously shared that she considers Herrera one of the local actors she has always wanted to work with. She cited "Ang Pangarap Kong Holdap" and Ang Sampung Utos Kay Josh, which stars Herrera alongside Jerald Napoles, among her favorite films. Although she has built a reputation through dramatic roles, Lustre said she is eager to explore more comedy projects, particularly a more mainstream style of humor. “Si Kuya Pepe naman, I know him personally kasi may mga common friends din kami," she said. "I just really wanna work with him." Meanwhile, Herrera and Napoles reunite in Viva Films’ “Ang Pinakamasarap na Pares sa Balat ng Lupa," which opens in cinemas nationwide on Aug. 26. Baekhyun who's always working so hard and try as hard possible to not let it show even when he's in pain.... you've worked so hard bby ☹️ 🐶: My cold just won't get better... so i just started coughing, and took some medicine the day before the Newark concert. Maybe it's because i didn't eat much and took the medicine, but the antibiotics have hurt my stomach and intestines, so now i have enteritis... actually, during the Newark concert too, i had a severe enteritis. Right after i performed 'Young', my whole body convulsed... because the dehydration was so severe, so i really had to grit my teeth during the Newark concert to keep performing, trying my best to not let it show, and then i collapsed right after the show. The day after the Newark concert, i just arrived in Chicago yesterday and i felt a cold shiver through my whole body. So, i thought, "Wah.. what is this?" and told my symptoms. It's the day of the Chicago concert, and i couldn't even try the Chicago pizza yet.... it's really so gloomy right now... i hope my body doesn't convulse. Because i had symptoms of dehydration, the more i use my muscles- breathing muscles are muscles too, right? So, i couldn't feel my breath reach the end of my stomach.... i should've done better at the Newark concert, ah.... i wasn't very satisfied with it. I shouldn't be like that today, so i'm going to drink as much water as possible and eat some bananas too. Chicago pizza.... i really want to eat it... it's such shame... i think i would gain some strength if i eat that. I need to get well soon and show Eris a good performance! That's what i'm thinking about... fighting!

Robert Duvall on how he prepared for his role in "Tender Mercies" (1983) & what he wanted to bring to the characters he played through his acting: "Interviewer: You usually play illiterate guys, yet on the subject of acting, you become very articulate. Have you ever wanted to do something totally different? Comedy, maybe? Duvall: Well, I just play characters. I mean there was comedy in my role in 'Apocalypse Now' (1979), but it was comedy that came through because I played the character. If you play the character, whatever’s there will come out. Interviewer: What about Shakespeare? Would you like to take on something like 'King Lear'? Duvall: People ask me why I don’t do Shakespeare. I think I could … I know I could, but it’s never interested me. My King Lear will be when I play in Horton Foote’s 'Convicts', and my Othello was Eddie Carbone in Arthur Miller’s 'View From the Bridge'. You don’t have to do classics to give great performances. I don’t know. I’ve always had a yen to play a preacher like Jimmy Swaggart. That might be it. I’m not sure yet. Just say this: just say it’s got to be real. That’s what I’m trying to do. And that’s hard. I drove over 600 miles of road in Texas listening to accents, watching how people held their bodies, talking to farmers. Man, I wanted my character to be real. But I loved it, too. I loved talking to those people. You know, that’s what all my acting is really about. Dignity. Trying to find the dignity in the man. Because the average working man has dignity that the Hollywood establishment has overlooked. The center and, especially, the South of this country have been patronized and made fun of. Things like the 'Dukes of Hazzard' (1979-85) — man, they’re the worst. If I can do anything at all in my work to show what dignity is in the common man, then that’s what my life is really about." (Robert Duvall's interview with Robert Ward, Rolling Stone, 1983)

Alex Behring and Daniel Schwartz have almost never spoken publicly about how 3G Capital invests and operates. The firm is different in many fascinating ways. Every fund they raise is designed to make exactly one investment. They invest more of their own money than any of their limited partners in every deal and send their own people to run the businesses as CEOs and CFOs. Over 20 years they have never lost money on a deal. The conversation includes the story of how they spent 15 years building a relationship with the founding family of Hunter Douglas before getting the opportunity to buy it. They describe receiving a two line rejection email from Tim Hortons after weeks of silence and how they managed to get back to the table and close the deal. They talk about how they bought Burger King for a billion dollars when no other firm showed up to compete. And they explain why Skechers being the third largest sneaker company in the world surprised even them. A major theme is how they develop talent. Daniel was an analyst who became CFO at 26 and CEO of Burger King at 32. Alex became CEO of the largest railroad in Latin America when he was 30. They explain what they look for in young people, why they give them significant responsibility faster than anywhere else, and what it takes to set them up to succeed while holding an unusually high bar. Daniel and Alex are two of the most talented and intense people I know. They are incredibly serious about business quality and disciplined about waiting for the right opportunity. They would rather do nothing than compromise. Enjoy! Boosie BadAzz and Kodak Black reignite their old beef over Yak doing a song with 6ix9ine. On March 6, Boosie went live on Instagram. Unexpectedly, Yak hopped on and began roasting the Louisiana rapper in the comment section. Following what seemed like a semi-playful back-and-forth, Kodak said he felt disrespected over how Boosie reacted to Yak linking with Tekashi. "I don't give a f**k if you feel disrespected," Boosie said. "I spoke how I felt about the situation, ni**a." "I don't hate you, my ni**a," Boosie continued. "When I see you drugging and looking like you out your top, I get mad. I'ma tell you that. I didn't try to cancel you, my ni**a. I said what I said and I let it go." Kodak commented on the Live: "Regardless if he sober now it don't matter that's hypocrisy tryna seem perfect on this internet...[I don't] laugh @ yo pain ni**a you foul bra." On Monday (May 9), Kodak posted a video on his Instagram Story showing Boosie speaking properly while wearing coke bottle glasses and a turtle neck, which appears to be an outtake from a comedy skit. A short time later, Boosie responded to the post on X: "YAK WE WAS JOSING ON SET LOL THAT AINT EVEN N THE MOVIE‼️ IM A GREAT ACTOR HA🔥💯💯💯💯 🎥 JUST SAY YOU WANNA GET N ONE OF MY FILMS 🤣I GOT THE PERFECT ROLE FOR U TO PLAY 🔥🔥🔥A CRACK HEAD #NOSCRIPTNEEDED JUST BE YOURSELF." "ANY NI**A WHO CHECK PC COULD NEVER SAY HE A GANGSTER 🤣🤣REAL STREET NI**AS WILL NEVER RESPECT U 💯‼️🤣🤣🤣," Boosie added in another post. Boosie and Kodak's beef goes back to 2023, when Kodak collaborated with rapper-federal informant 6ix9ine on the song "Skaka Laka." Boosie reacted by dissing Kodak for the move. Yak and Boosie have been trading shots off-and-on since then.
