@bch1986 I’m with her, also, and agree. I’m just not sure arguing does anything productive, and posting on the internet is crazy.

To play devil's advocate, she started in Aug and was given Sept/Oct/Dec to close software business? That is insane. If the deals are anything over 10K and up, you have to give someone six months to a year to build/manage funnel, close deals and achieve quota.

Why do you think companies need to make it “performance based termination?” Is it so they don’t have to report them as layoffs (which they really are)? So people don’t get severance? I’m hearing about these types of firings across the board, but especially w/ big tech.
