A state cannot be governed through fear or police excesses. Democracy cannot survive under autocratic rule or politically biased policing. Law enforcement must act impartially, beyond party colours and political interests. When BJP-backed miscreants attack Trinamool workers, or when bulldozers are used without prior legal notice, can that ever be called justice? We are not afraid of opposition politics or intimidation. If the Honourable CM says that 12,000 young men will be sent to jail, then we will stand beside those 12,000 youths and take the fight to the streets. Say it loud: The struggle to protect democracy will continue.

We asked them to catch them, but the police haven't caught a single person to this day. ​​The letter that arrived yesterday evening was from a person who openly wrote that the police had called him in. The politics of a single mandatory opinion is a denial of sovereignty and democracy. When you hear such aggressive remarks, it feels like we are not heading into good times. The words of the German Chancellor are absolutely unacceptable in modern Europe. If we don’t obey, are we to be punished? This is not the path toward cohesion and cooperation. India is a democratic country. 🇮🇳 Every citizen has the constitutional freedom to speak, question, and express opinions. Who are you to decide what I should speak or not speak? Who gave you the right to mentally torture someone for expressing their views? This kind of intimidation culture is dangerous for democracy. Trying to silence voices through fear, pressure, and emotional harassment is absolutely ridiculous. I am deeply disturbed and emotionally hurt by the repeated calls and targeting.
