Ghost in the Shell STAND ALONE COMPLEX (2002) Ending:

That last image makes you believe Batou is taking a group selfie :)

Saturday Nights on Adult Swim it was peak

“…Sky is filled with neon The buildings stand electric And almost seem to glow Want answers to the question My life is like an island Where does the ocean go? I really want to know My life is like an island It's time for me now to fly Where does the ocean go?” — Kano

Lithium flower, greath theme fits motoko.

Not-so-fun fact: There are actually a combined 4 openings between SAC and 2nd gig. For cost cutting reasons, "Get 9" and "Christmas in the Silent Forest" were never released for the North American version.

I use to know this song word for word because it was in English. 2nd ending was also in English to lol

I think I saw SAC 2 times... maybe it is time to give it a third run before the new one😊

I just finished watching 1st less than a hour ago. Next up 2nd gig.

I wish I had grown up with this series as a kid.

That was nice, but I was nore of a fan of Steve Conte's living inside the shell

Is she really Human or just incredible math?!? My favorite

I used to listen to all the openings and endings for GitS on a loop. Shit’s awesome.

One of the the most banger ending songs ever.

The Peak Grunge 🎸❤️❤️

Worst part of the night.

God I LOVE GitS: SAC!

Iconic!

one of my favourite anime credit sequences
