This is our final update on new Ginger “maulings”. Bernoulli has come so very far from a little naughty puppy to a giant lovable bear. Why is this the last update? Well we have been saying for months now that Ginger is moving out with Adam and that day is almost here. Ginger is Adam’s cat (our son) and he is moving up to Edmonton to finish his science degree. It was always the plan for Adam to take Ginger when he moved out. Don’t worry, Adam loves Ginger (and she loves him!) and has a wonderful place for her. She isn’t moving into a party dorm. It’s a very spacious and respectable apartment. Kris and I are so very sad. We are sad that Adam is moving away, and sad that Ginger is too. We absolutely know that the dogs (and Ginger) will have to adjust to the new normal. Ginger has been a big part of our lives, and we never would have expected Bernoulli loving her the way he does. Edmonton is a short drive, so there will lots of visits, and if Ginger struggles to adjust she has a forever home here on the farm. Adam will be taking pictures and videos of her for us to continue to share, and when we visit you bet we will get you footage of Bernoulli and Ginger. As we say on the farm, Seasons Change. You can’t stop them, only enjoy them while they are here. I do see another cat in our future, in some upcoming season.

Admin Post: They're finally plowing our street!! Of course there's no way I'm going to skip this opportunity to do some desensitization work with Kenji. He's a very confident puppy but those plows are big and loud. From a distance they didn't bother him but as they approached the driveway he became visibly nervous. Asking him to sit and watch isn't going to help that. Neither is retreating back into the house. Instead we move a few feet back and play a game of hand targets (I hold my hand out in various positions, changing from high to low and left to right, and when cued, he pushes it with his nose) and toss his treat a few feet away he does it. He also gets paid for eye contact so when he focuses on me he gets a reward. He still watches, but he's no longer fixated on it. He offers eye contact and will stop watching it when cued for a "push". The little "wins" of getting the reward are a huge confidence builder in an uncomfortable environment. Much more than just having him stand there being fed to keep him distracted from the uncomfortable stimuli. If he can't do a hand target on cue and isn't checking in with eye contact even when his name is said, he isn't choosing to ignore me. It means the situation is too stimulating for him so we back up to give him more space. Confidence isn't approaching big scary things (or even small scary things) barking and acting like we'll chase them away or eat them. The majority of the time dogs exhibit that behavior, it's fear based. Confidence is being able to function and not become overwhelmed in situations that are different and sometimes uncomfortable. That's our goal. And on that note, I can finally get out of the driveway to get tomatoes!

Honestly, I felt like I was going to spin 360° myself from how much work there was, but I’m really happy that we were able to show a new side of Super Junior while celebrating our 20th anniversary. If our previous Super Shows showcased our 20-year history, then this Encore concert is like a preview of the next 20 years of Super Junior. That’s why we introduced the vampire concept and new looks for the members—to show you that we won’t get tired, won’t age, and won’t change no matter how much time passes, and that we will always stay by your side. Some of you have loved us from the very beginning, and some joined along the way, but we will always stay right here, quietly doing our best. Hank the tank has had a tough life on the streets and if we had been a day or 2 later he wouldn’t have made it with the maggots eating him. Once he was fully recovered it was very hard to find Hank a home. He couldn’t fly abroad, was a very big boy and also slightly older. The odds were stacked against him. He did eventually find a home but it wasn’t meant to be. The owners were incredible and tried everything with my help but Hank just couldn’t fit in with their existing dogs and we all decided it was best he came back. It’s one of those cases where the owners were incredible but Hank is a very specific dog who has lived on the streets and has some trauma in his past. I was thinking about the best solutions for Hank but while he was staying with me I just realized something very timely for him… Id fallen in love with the big goofball myself. He is the kindest big giant you could ever come across and after losing Snoop, Tina, Buster and Derek recently he just felt like the perfect company at home. Hank the Tank is now my dog. After a tough life he is right here he needs to be…home.

So I have currently been playing and streaming the early access for 14 hours STRAIGHT! and I have played a BUNCH of Gorr. Here are some changes that NEED to be done to Gorr before he releases on Friday (Tomorrow) FIRST POINT: Starting off is Gorr's shift (Living abyss) can't grab healthpacks nor can it TP. Abilities similar to Gorr's shift (Living abyss) is Hood's fade, Cloaks fade and Scarlet witches fade. All of those can both grab health packs and TP while they are in their respective forms. If you want to make the argument that it's like a Hela bird, then Gorr when getting knocked while using his Shift, the cooldown shouldn't get used like the Hela bird doesn't. And a big feature that the Hela bird has that Gorr doesn't is that she can B-hop. I personally think its really worth mentioning that part since any extra movement on a Melee character is very much needed as you need to close the gap. SECOND POINT: His Ult literally nerfs him in some scenarios. If you have the upgraded Hela teamup and you use the Scythe by either using his TP (F) or popping the teamup directly, everytime you use your M1 you gain overhealth. Now when you use the ult while having the upgraded Hela teamup and you use something that should proc the scythe (Teleport or teamup) and you hit someone, you don't get that same overhealth that you would without your ultimate. A ultimate being weaker than the basekit in any shape or form is simply bad or overlooked design. I think it should be fixed. THIRD AND FINAL POINT: Similar to the first point, Gorr should NEVER lose his cooldowns on his movement abilities (His teleport and his fade) if he gets knocked while using them. Not STUNNED or SNARED or ROOTED or EARTHBOUND. Simply being KNOCKED both stops his movement AND eats the cooldown. I think this is a big mistake and it should be changed. A dive character being punished this hard on movement that already feels semi-clunky is extremely BAD and should be changed as soon as possible. I love NetEase Games_EN and playing and i know they will do us justice by saving this amazing release of a character. Below is a vid of everything I just explained very simply. Over the past year, I’ve integrated a concept I learned from Stanley Druckenmiller into my process called “invest and then investigate.” This approach played a key role in some of my recent big trades such as $ETH and $IWM. Have you ever discovered a compelling idea, spent days or weeks researching, and by the time you’re ready, a big portion of the move has already happened? That little hesitation creates what Druck calls “psychological paralysis”—you feel locked out, and it becomes mentally harder to buy higher. You then have to watch your big trade opportunity go without you or even worse, you get FOMO and chase the move, only to get caught in the pullback. Now, whenever I sense an opportunity with serious potential, I make immediate contact. I start small, just enough to get exposure, and then gradually size up as new information confirms my thesis and price action supports it. If i already have an initial stake, even if it’s small, adding as my conviction builds feels much more natural. This helps avoid adding too much size too quick, while also buying you time to really investigate the idea and build your conviction. Sometimes that starter position gets cut entirely, other times it grows into a large position. Making that initial contact has helped me tremendously when it comes to dealing with high conviction and big swing trade opportunities. 3x time U.S Investing Champion David Ryan also uses a similar concept within his trading called “mental health buys”. He will buy a small position in a stock he wants to own but that it is not perfectly setup yet, with the goal of eventually making it a larger position. OF Nolan Schubart (OSU Cowboy Baseball) has some of the most impressive raw power of any college hitter in this year's Draft class. Burst onto the scene as a true Freshman and hit .338/.451/.667 with 20 2B, 17 HRs and 74 RBIs. Schubart followed with an excellent Sophomore campaign to the tune of a .370/.513/.838 slash line with 10 2B, 23 HRs and 68 RBIs. Both his 23 HRs and 68 RBIs led the Big 12. Schubart was a Second Team All-American and earned an invitation to Team USA. Prior to departing for Cary, Schubart had a productive 9-game stint on the Cape in which he hit .300/.476/.667 with 2 2B and 3 HRs. Also showed well for Team USA. Schubart has a pro body at 6'5" and 223-lbs with strength throughout. Particular length in his lower-half. Stands tall in the box with a medium-high handset and his hands in line with his back shoulder. Small stride, drops his hands and wraps his bat a bit in his load. Swing is tailored towards getting the ball up in the air and doing damage. No shortage of bat speed. Hips really fire. Key is keeping the operation direct and connected. Not to get too hyperbolic, but the biggest key to Schubart reaching his ceiling is how much he'll hit. More specifically, how much he'll make contact. Had an overall contact rate of just 63% and an overall IZ contact rate of 71%. Between the Cape and USA it was 68% and 78%, respectively. Particularly susceptible to spin in the bottom and outer-halves of the zone, and heaters in the top-1/2 of the zone. While there are swing-and-miss concerns, Schubart's swing decisions are pretty sound and he chased at an overall clip of 21% last spring. If he can do a better job of picking up spin out of the hand—which in turn would up his contact rate—that will help him maximize his hit tool. Schubart's calling card is his thunderous raw power. His ability to cover the plate with authority is impressive, and he can hammer the baseball to all fields. It's legit HR power to all parts of the yard, the key is just making enough contact to tap into his immense power on a consistent basis in pro ball. Schubart's impact is real (to say the least) and last spring he posted a 90th-percentile EV of 111.6 and a Max EV of 115. Even in his brief stint on the Cape his Max EV was 105.6. It's 70 raw power. Defensively, Schubart has held down LF to this point but he seems destined for 1B/DH professionally. OF Nolan Schubart (OSU Cowboy Baseball) has some of the most impressive raw power of any college hitter in this year's Draft class. Burst onto the scene as a true Freshman and hit .338/.451/.667 with 20 2B, 17 HRs and 74 RBIs. Schubart followed with an excellent Sophomore campaign to the tune of a .370/.513/.838 slash line with 10 2B, 23 HRs and 68 RBIs. Both his 23 HRs and 68 RBIs led the Big 12. Schubart was a Second Team All-American and earned an invitation to Team USA. Prior to departing for Cary, Schubart had a productive 9-game stint on the Cape in which he hit .300/.476/.667 with 2 2B and 3 HRs. Also showed well for Team USA. Schubart has a pro body at 6'5" and 223-lbs with strength throughout. Particular length in his lower-half. Stands tall in the box with a medium-high handset and his hands in line with his back shoulder. Small stride, drops his hands and wraps his bat a bit in his load. Swing is tailored towards getting the ball up in the air and doing damage. No shortage of bat speed. Hips really fire. Key is keeping the operation direct and connected. Not to get too hyperbolic, but the biggest key to Schubart reaching his ceiling is how much he'll hit. More specifically, how much he'll make contact. Had an overall contact rate of just 63% and an overall IZ contact rate of 71%. Between the Cape and USA it was 68% and 78%, respectively. Particularly susceptible to spin in the bottom and outer-halves of the zone, and heaters in the top-1/2 of the zone. While there are swing-and-miss concerns, Schubart's swing decisions are pretty sound and he chased at an overall clip of 21% last spring. If he can do a better job of picking up spin out of the hand—which in turn would up his contact rate—that will help him maximize his hit tool. Schubart's calling card is his thunderous raw power. His ability to cover the plate with authority is impressive, and he can hammer the baseball to all fields. It's legit HR power to all parts of the yard, the key is just making enough contact to tap into his immense power on a consistent basis in pro ball. Schubart's impact is real (to say the least) and last spring he posted a 90th-percentile EV of 111.6 and a Max EV of 115. Even in his brief stint on the Cape his Max EV was 105.6. It's 70 raw power. Defensively, Schubart has held down LF to this point but he seems destined for 1B/DH professionally. Sydney Pollack on 'The Yakuza' (1974) & the differences he had with Paul Schrader while making the movie: "I think 'The Yakuza' (1974) is a terrific picture. I think it is one of the better pictures that I have done. it's not an audience picture at all. it's a picture that got fairly well received critically. [but] nobody went to see; it it's an oddball movie that very few people even know. but it's a movie that I like a lot. It was Schrader's first big break. He's a very talented guy and again I had a similar problem working with him, not quite like [working with] Milius but but it was a taste problem. In other words, he was an ex-critic and a real film buff and his models for everything were films that he'd seen before and he had approached everything from a sort of a genre point of view; "let's have a little violence in the first 10 minutes then we can have some later". I kept saying I know what that means all I know is the scene doesn't work but he & his brother were terrific and they were both good and they came over while we were shooting. Robert Towne came into the rewrite for me on that and I got to work with Mitchum who is just wonderful to work with and Brian Keith and Richard Jordan, some real good actors and a wonderful Japanese camera man named Kozo Okazaki and spent a lot of time in Japan and I think that's a pretty damn good picture." I feel like the Jays fans are going through what we went through last year with Devin Williams. A year after giving up a historical, gut punching home run to be a big factor in losing his team a do/die game, the underlying metrics have looked amazing but haven't matched the results in the slightest. The peripherals on his season are outstanding. 🔹2.68 xERA || 2.31 FIP || 1.78 xFIP || 🔹99th-100th percentile Chase%, whiff%, K%..the stuff is stuffing. And he only has a 6.9% BB rate. 🔹A 37.9 K% - 6.9 BB% is absurdly good and this is one of the best predictive metrics we have in the sport 🔹Also limits hard contact: 6.5% Barrel rate and 30.6% Hardhit rate 🔹Andddd keeps balls on the ground for the most part But the results make no sense: 4.62 ERA (now higher obviously) .492 BABIP 68.8% LOB 16.7 HR/FB% This is almost identical to what we went through with Devin. On the one side, a lot of the data guys are (and understandably) saying this is a really good pitcher that needs more time for things to come back down to earth. But then you have more of the not-so data crowd (+ even some of the data crowd by now) saying this is a guy that shouldnt see high leverage again. And I understand both, just as I did with the Devin situation. It's hard to fault fans for just not wanting any part of this after what happened last year + what they feel as a fan this year. But then again, it's hard to ignore how dam good the data looks too, which is more often more correct than the eye.
