I have definitely said things to Emma Hilton over the course of heated discussions in the past that were uncivil and personal. In my opinion, Emma has said things about me to her followers, which while true, were said for the purpose of diminishing my standing and reputation in the discussion. I don't think this is in the best interests of our advocacy or of our shared humanity, although I recognize it sometimes happens when people passionately believe in their causes and want their views to prevail In this clip, we talk about the value of civility and the apology., even when people disagree strongly, and of not getting personal

🍀 when they (baseball players) have to apologize they apologize right away, when they want to say something they just do it. but if they think oh this is not.. they still apologize later on immediately i think things like that are very good. 🍀 im also this kind of style. if i have something to apologize for i do it right away. But i do tend to think about how to apologize beforehand. apologizing right away.. lets say i made a mistake and immediately go and say sorry it might not feel like a sincere apology.. so i'll think about it a little after that i'll go and say "im sorry i didn't mean it like that"
