Glyphosate is a pipe cleaner... It started as an industrial pipe cleaner, pulling rust and metal out of pipes. Someone spilled it on the ground and it killed everything it touched, and that's when it got rebranded as a weed killer. Then came the real move. Modify the food...

👉🏾 GMO crops were created specifically so that Glyphosate could be sprayed on them. How fucked up is that? Worse, they did that because 👉🏾 Glyphosate kills everything it touches And worse than that 👉🏾 Glyphosate remains on the plants it’s sprayed on which we then eat

@TThorne212 It is not safe to eat any US agricultural product. No wheat, corn, or other crop, or anything made from it. Sadly including beer. I stopped and all digestive products disappeared. Just saying.

The actual story is that it Glyphosate is a by-product of industrial weapons manufacturing. The plan all along was to spray it on our crops and use you as a human filter to clean up their waste, turning a liability into a major profit and making the useless eater dumb all at once

Glyphosate was originally a natural herbicide produced by the Poinciana tree isolated and synthesised by Ciba-Geigy and later sold to Monsanto. Check you facts Del.

You see, this is where you lose credibility as glyphosate doesn’t “kill everything it touches”. This is not to defend it nor promote it, you understand.

Salt was first used for preserving corpses. It's also used to make caustic soda. Your silly argument is nonsense. No, somebody didn't spill some Glyphosate, it was synthesized by deliberate laboratory testing.

I just had GPT-6 Astra start playing Factorio, one of the most complex engineering and automation games ever made and my personal favorite game of all time! I told it to start a completely new game, figure everything out on its own, and just play. First it couldn't use the keyboard but figured out by creating a plugin for it and started playing. It then walked around and started cutting trees for fuel, found an iron ore deposit (from the map), built a mining drill, loaded it with tree fuel, and started mining. Then it built a stone furnace next to the miner to smelt the iron ore into plates, since ore is automatically transferred to the furnace if it is next to it, somehow it knew that! After that, it opened the map, found a coal deposit, traveled there, mined some coal, came back, and loaded the coal into the furnace! I had instructed it to play for only 15 minutes, so when the time was up, it stopped and saved the game right there. And this was only on medium effort! Now I’m going to see whether it can play for several hours continuously and keep building increasingly complex factories. It will probably consume quite a few of my tokens, but I absolutely have to see how far it can go! Watching AI finally play Factorio autonomously feels like witnessing AGI in action. It is really unbelievable and tremendously exhilarating! I think tobi lutke would appreciate this as a seasoned Factorio player. :) And for anyone unfamiliar with this amazing game, ask Grok about it! It’s available on Steam but be warned: if you have even the slightest engineering inclination, it can be extremely addictive. 😂 Video is 3x fast version of part of the game slice after miner and furnace were built finding and mining the coal by hand. It is a bit slow as it figures out how to play!

If you thought you had it all figured out about Glyphosate, and that President Trump sold us out — you need to listen to this. RFK Jr. says he was not happy with the Executive Order, but he emphasizes this is a 60+ year train-wreck that President Trump did not create, and it certainly cannot be fixed overnight. RFK Jr understands exactly why Trump did it, and this is the dark truth: • A large majority of our food supply is Glyphosate ready and simply would not survive without it, and immediately banning Glysophate overnight would cause a chain reaction that would destroy our food supply and economy. • He says, as I discovered when researching, the large majority of glyphosate (the active ingredient in herbicides like Roundup) is produced in China. So think about it: — our crops need glyphosate — China controls glyphosate — Which means, China controls our food supply. — therefore, China, our greatest adversary could cripple our food supply. — which means, this is a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY • RFK Jr emphasized the importance of President Trump realizing the National Security implications, making his decision to start producing Glysophate in America absolutely necessary, and could limit the dangers getting it from our greatest adversary. • RFK JR emphasized the dangers of Glysophate very openly, minced no words about it — and said that his agency is actively working on new technologies and methods that get us off of this dangerous chemical for good. 🔻 MY THOUGHTS: I 100% stand behind what RFK Jr said. When the EO came out, I didn’t understand why.. but after researching how we got here, I quickly understood this was a very complex problem, one that doesn’t get fixed overnight. I am thanking God right now that we at lease have a President that recognized the dangers the past administrations have put us in, and a Health Secretary who understands the risks openly and is willing to do everything he can to stop this madness. I trust these men, both Trump and RFK Jr. I believe they are making amazing strides with the problems they inherited. Give them time. Have faith. It will all work out in the end.

As a hot war in the Middle East ramps up, Trump takes a SEVEN MINUTE BREAK to deliver this demented vowel movement about his fountains. Read it. He is absolutely gone. 1/2 “We also have a beautiful city. We had 22 fountains. Every one of them didn't work. One of them, probably the best was one that hasn't worked for 50 years. That was about the best. They've all been out of commission for 50 years or more. Can you imagine it? They were graffiti-strung, grass-strung, the grass growing through the cracks. And they were in terrible shape. And all 22 have now been opened. And the most magnificent, possibly, of all the waterfront and union station is beautiful. You see that? It was all graffiti all over the place. We-- it's a lot of work. We got it looking maybe better than it was the day they put it in. But the one that we're all talking about is the almost 2,500 foot long that's taller than any building in the world, actually. There's no building that's 2,500 feet tall. I don't think. But it's like twice the height of the Empire State Building is an example, much wider. So we just got that open. Last night, we went to do it before July 4, and it is incredible. It's called-- it was originally called 1922. It was built. It was called the Reflecting Pond, or the Reflecting Lakes of people called it. But it was supposed to be a reflection. It never worked from 1920 to-- because it was stone on the base. And no matter what, it always leaked, because you have stone, and you have lots of crevins that we have nice stone out there. But if you go between the stone, it leaks. And so it never really worked very well. And it was a bad color. It was gray. It's concrete and stones. It was gray. And I had the idea, along with some great people that worked for us, Doug Burgum, his fantastic, his group, Greg, everybody. And it worked very hard. But it was going to cost $400 million. And we did it for about $10 million. It was going to take four years to build. So we did it in, like, a month, a month and a half. And we would have had our construction site out there for years. And it wouldn't have worked when they built it. So when they told me what they were going to do, I said, that's not a good idea. I built many, many swimming pools as a builder. I built hundreds of them. And I got one of our contractors. I had them take a look. And he said, oh, we can do a great job. If you could just give us a decent surface, a surface was in sense. So we sand blasted the surface. We fumeigated it. We took out 11 dumpsters, big dumpsters, full of garbage. It was all garbage. Some of the garbage was after years. It was all disgusting. And it smelled. And anyway, we took 11 dumpsters of garbage out. With shovels, we had a shovel inside of what's called a pool or a lake. And I got it cleaned. We then fumeigated it. We then sandblasted the entire thing. Washed it cleaned. It scrubbed it. Sandblasted it. Then we gave it a test. Then we rinsed it out. And we gave them a beautiful surface. And then they put a swimming pool topping, but industrial strength. It's industrial strength. It's used for tanks and lots of other things. So it will water. And we worked out the ratios of expansion and contraction, because you know, believe it or not, when you have something that's 2,500 feet long, this tremendous expansion. And who would think of this? Only a person that doesn't like me. And they have a lot of expansion and contraction. So when we're putting the surface down, we'd leave areas that can expand and contract a little bit. Because it expands over a foot and a half, can you believe it? So I would have ripped it apart. So we left areas of expansion and contraction. We were testing it for three weeks, four weeks. Works great. And we just opened it last night, and people are going wild over.”

"'Caddyshack' (1980) was a little disappointing when it came out and now it's just a miraculous irony that people have continued to embrace the film and love it." --- Harold Ramis Full Excerpt: "The fact that people are still watching 'Caddyshack' (1980) & showing it to their kids, their grandchildren and still talking about it amazes me because when the movie came out, we actually were a little disappointed because Doug Kenney and I had just done 'Animal House' (1978) and we were so arrogant at the time as we were writing 'Animal House' with Chris Miller. We would actually think to ourselves that it would be the most successful comedy of all time; which it turned out to be . It was like a grandiose delusion that was turned real on us. So then we thought well now we'll do 'Caddyshack' & that it will be the most successful comedy ever. we will do better than 'Animal House' and it didn't. It did half as well and a lot of critics scorned us. The New York Times called it an "amiable mess" which I kind of liked. I thought "all right I'll take amiable and the mess I can live with." So, it was a little disappointing when it came out and now it's just a miraculous irony that people have continued to embrace the film and love it. I once recognized the strange fact that when people used to read TV Guide and they would rate movies. 'Caddyshack' was a two-star movie for the first 10 years. Then at some point I noticed that it got a third star in the same publication and I thought "maybe it's like wine, the longer you keep it in, it just gets a little better."" Powerful speech by Courtney Swan... My name is Courtney Swan. I have a master's of science in nutrition, and I host the Real Foodology podcast. And thank you so much for listening to me to us today. Our food is being tainted by dangerous chemicals, and it's making us sick. In 2009, I started to get debilitating stomachaches." "I bounced around between specialists with no clarity for two years until 2011 when I was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance. I was also at the time to I was also told to avoid corn and soy, which are common food sensitivities amongst my generation. Unfortunately, my story is not unique. Clueless to how this was connected to our food system, I started to do some digging. What I found was alarming." "Our current agriculture system origin story involves large chemical companies. Not farmers, chemists. 85% of the food that you're consuming started from a patented seed sold by a chemical corporation that was responsible for creating Agent Orange in the Vietnam War. Why are chemical companies feeding America? Corn, soy, and wheat are not only the most common allergens, but are among the most heavily pesticide sprayed crops today." "In 1974, the US started spraying our crops with an herbicide called glyphosate. And in the early nineteen nineties, we began to see the release of genetically modified foods into our food supply. It all seems to begin with a chemical company by the name IG Farben, the later parent company of Bayer. Farben provided the chemicals used in Nazi nerve agents and gas chambers. Years later, a second chemical company, Monsanto, joined the war industry with the production of Agent Orange, a toxin used during the Vietnam War." "When the wars ended, these companies needed a market for their chemicals. So they pivoted to killing bugs and pests on American farmlands. Monsanto began marketing glyphosate with the catchy name Roundup. They claimed that these chemicals were harmless and that they safeguarded our crops from pests. So farmers started spraying these supposedly safe chemicals on our farmland." "They solved the bug problem, but they also killed the crops. Monsanto offered a solution with the creation of genetically modified, otherwise known as GMO crops that resisted the glyphosate in the Roundup that they were spraying. These Roundup ready crops allow farmers to spray entire fields of glyphosate to kill off pests without harming the plants, but our food is left covered in toxic chemical residue that doesn't wash, dry, or cook off. Not only is it sprayed to kill pests, but in the final stages of harvest, it is sprayed on the wheat to dry it out. Grains that go into bread and cereals that are in grocery stores and homes of Americans are heavily sprayed with these toxins." "It's also being sprayed on oats, chickpeas, almonds, potatoes, and more. You can assume that if it's not organic, it is likely contaminated with glyphosate. In America, organic food by law cannot contain GMOs and glyphosate, and they are more expensive compared to conventionally grown options. Americans are being forced to pay more for food that isn't poisoned. The environmental working group reported a test of popular wheat based products and found glyphosate contamination in eighty to ninety percent of the products on grocery store shelves." "Popular foods like Cheerios, Goldfish, chickpea pasta like Bonza, Nature Valley bars were found to have concerning levels of glyphosate. If that is not alarming enough, glyphosate is produced by and distributed from China. In 2018, Bayer bought Monsanto. They currently have patented soybeans, corn, canola, and sugar beets, and they are the largest distributor of GMO corn and soybean seeds. Americans deserve a straight answer." "Why does an agrochemical company own where our food comes from? Currently, 85 to a % of corn and soy crops in The US are genetically modified. 80% of GMOs are engineered to withstand glyphosate. And a staggering 280,000,000 pounds of glyphosate are sprayed on American crops annually. We are eating this Roundup ready corn." "But unlike GMO crops, humans are not Roundup ready. We are not resistant to these toxins. And it's causing neurological damage, endocrine disruption. It's harming our reproductive health, and it's affecting fetal development. Glyphosate is classified as a carcinogen by the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer." "It is also suspected to contribute towards the rise in celiac disease and gluten and gluten sensitivities. They're finding glyphosate in human breast milk placentas, our organs, and even sperm. It's also being found in our rain and our drinking water. Until January of twenty twenty two, many companies made efforts to obscure the presence of GMOs and pesticides in food products from from American consumers. It was only then that legislation came into effect mandating that these companies disclose such ingredients with a straightforward label stating made with bioengineered ingredients, but it's very small on the package." "Meanwhile, glyphosate still isn't labeled on our food. Parents in America are unknowingly feeding their children these toxic foods. Doctor Don Huber, a glyphosate researcher, warns that glyphosate will make the outlawed nineteen seventies insecticide DDT look harmless in comparison to glyphosate. Why is the US government subsidizing the most pesticide sprayed crops using taxpayer dollars? These are the exact foods that are driving the epidemic of chronic disease." "These crops heavily sprayed with glyphosate are then processed into high fructose corn syrup and refined vegetable oils, which are key ingredients for the ultra processed fruit foods that line our supermarket shelves and fill our children's lunches in schools across the nation. Children across America are consuming foods such as Goldfish and Cheerios that are loaded with glyphosate. These crops also feed our livestock, which then produce the eggs, dairy, and meat products that we consume. They are in everything. Pick up almost any ultra processed food package on the shelf and you will see the words contains corn, wheat, and soy on the ingredients panel." "Meanwhile, Bayer is doing everything it can to keep consumers in the dark while our government protects these corporate giants. They fund educational programs at major major agricultural universities. They lobby in Washington, and they collaborate with lawmakers to protect their profits over public health. Two congressmen are working with Bayer right now on the farm bill to protect Bayer from any liability despite already having to pay out billions to sick Americans who got cancer from their product. They know that their product is harming people." "Chronic illnesses are on the rise, and half of our population is obese. This is a national security issue. Seventy seven percent of young Americans are ineligible for military service. We have industrialized our food at the expense of our health, prioritizing profits over people to the point where our bodies can no longer cope with this chemical salt. We must stop subsidizing the foods that make us sick." "We must prioritize people over profit. This is not this is this isn't just about policy, it's about survival. Let's create a future where our food system is designed to nourish us and not destroy us. Thank you."
